i find that when drawing a cable pattern like the one you tried; the trick is to draw the 'S''s right on top of eachother where the start of your next 'S' is touching the first curve of the last one and the second curve of you next 'S' touches the end of the first. It gives that neat corded cable look.

Yay Suzie. Thank you so much for doing sweater nails. I know my request was way past the TREND but you did it anyway. And it was on my son's birthday. I love your videos. Just watched ASMR videos explained, and I have always found your voice so soothing and found comments from others thinking you are triggering something. Whatever the reason I will continue to watch because I learn so much from you. Now if only we could get you and Jenna Marbles, and/or you and Cristine from Simply Nailogical to collab that would be the cherry on top. Again thanks for the sweaters.

+Anya M. Rocha hi Anya - thank you so much 😊 im curious though, what do you mean “ you are triggering something” - i would LOVE a collab with either or both of these ladies 😀
@AnyaMRocha6 жыл бұрын
Nail Career Education Hi Suzie. For ASMR something triggers the pleasure response in your brain. They explained it could be a voice, sound, feeling and some comments on the explaination video said your voice was very calming and gave them a feeling of wellbeing. I thought maybe it was the same for me but it's not the same tingles I get from ASMR. I just find it soothing and easy to listen to like many other people do as well. I have watched other nail tutorials but often can't watch because certain tones of voice annoy me. My job is listening to people all day, so watching your videos helps relax me. Again thanks for doing this video for me. It was a different technique than others used and informative.

To do the chain cable you keep having problems with, you want to keep the second pass of the cable from actually touching your initial elongated “s”. A cable of that type is knitted by passing one set of the stitches under the other. When you let the lines touch, you lose the depth the makes the cable look like it twists. Looking at charted cable knitting patterns may help since they have more contrast than the actual knitted items?
@NailCareerEducation6 жыл бұрын
+Anna Breon YUP! Good tip😀💜

I think the self levelling quality of gel as well might be a negative, maybe flash cure every 3 passes of gel application, might give a more raised appearance like cable or aran jumpers.

Rhoda thats horrible. Id rather just not do my nails. Its super cringey to me. Most pros are going to say something similar.
@kelseymorine-reid58636 жыл бұрын
Rhoda I believe it's not even close to the acrylic dip powder. Pro is the cost and you can diy. Cons if not sealed can lump and degrade in water. No strength. Won't last long. Ment as a temporary thing not a long term all the time thing. Who knows the effect of the corn starch with the polish and how it'll react in a few days time and so on. Too many unknowns for me. Hope this helped a bit.b
@beccablueeyes996 жыл бұрын

Hi, Suzie. I loved the finished look. I truly respect your honesty. If you add a little clear acrylic into the color gel that your going to use to design the cable look, it would prevent gel spread, then add more clear acrylic over the design before you cure it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I don't want to say too much on this topic because I don't want to publicly speculate when we have very limited information and the girls are very clearly choosing to not speak about this but please be mindful of Jesy in the coming weeks and by that I mean three things. 1. Choose your words carefully when you explain Jesy's absence. The official statements are intentionally vague because Jesy is not ready to share whatever medical things she's going through and so we shouldn't be spreading unconfirmed information about her physical or mental health. 2. Please think twice about asking new reactors to check out ot3 performances. Obviously, the performances are new and exciting but it gives the impression to people that are new to Little Mix that there are only 3 girls in the group and/or that there's drama between them and Jesy is leaving. Jesy is doing what she needs to do right now and doesn't need new potential fans (both the reactors and their followers who watch their videos for them and not Little Mix) dismissing her as part of the group because most of the things they've seen are things where she's missing. The speculation of her leaving is most likely upsetting to the girls since the latest statement explicitly asks the media to respect her privacy and so we should respond in kind and try not to create situations where that will be perpetuated. 3. I understand that we're all worried and concerned but please do not comment under posts pleading with the girls to tell us about her condition. If Jesy wanted it to be public, it would be so out of respect for her we need to step back and realize that we have no right to information about her health and stop asking for it. The best thing we can do is be positive and supportive and stop publicly speculating about her since tabloids use fan tweets and comments to make headlines.

I made my sweater nails, but they get dirty really fast especially the white matt colored nails. I found myself constantly wiping them with alcohol. They captured all the lint and became to high maintenance to constantly keep cleaning them. After 3 days I decided to put clear coat on them. But it somehow lost its texture. Any one else experience this??
