Im looking forward to getting out to Prince Rupert next spring/summer for a few fishing trips.. love the west coast… I saw you are needing new batteries… I also watch a couple with a Nordhavn from Seattle, MV Freedom.. they have a vid of there converting to lifeph bats…. Might be worth messeging them to see how they like them.. compared to lead batts. .. cheers

Wow, that scenery looked out of this world and weather to match, however, I am now making a toasted BLT at 10 o clock at night. this is going to cost me A FORTUNE in new belts and pants, Keep em coming loving each and every one, Thank you.

I feel your pain on the battery issue. Had to replace mine this season. The joys of boat ownership! Looked like you timed your transit through Hole-in-the-wall perfectly, From other videos I have seen the current can really get moving. Looking forward to your next vid!

Hoping these batteries will last at least 6 or 7 years. They seem to drain faster then our other ones did. After 10 hours they need charging again. We have two fridges that are old on the boat and they need replacing. $$$

11y for AGMs...its a good lifetime. But 1500 per battery? Far to much I think. you get the 255Ah normaly between 850-1000$. Is it because of the shipping or what other reason is there for such a price?

We found some for 1250 each. It’s just expensive$$$. Shipping and costs. Some deep cycle batteries are better than others. We didn’t shop around because that’s all the company had in stock and we were desperate

@@MVSKOOKUM1 Oh...now its clear. My banks are from 2019. Never used more than 20-30%....to warm in the Med. The GEN is running every day because of the AC 🙂 So I hope they will last also 10y+ like the first set.....

Our Agm deep cycle batteries never like to be discharged past 50% ever. It’s hard on them, it affects them. So we have to be on top of it. We have the two fridges and a freezer and they suck so much energy.

What batteries did you end up choosing?

We ended up with 3 Discovery 8D AGM batteries with 840 amp hrs all together.
