Hey since you write wonderful arrangements and we seem to have similar tastes in music maybe you will like playing around with some of Michel Legrand's songs: The Windmills of Your Mind (les moulins de mon coeur) or You Must Believe in Spring (La Chanson de Maxence) from Les Demoiselles de Rochefort. For both of them don't hesitate to listen to original or orchestral versions and not only to the most knowns jazz arrangements, they can fit your very expressive style better IMO and it would be a pleasure to listen to your take on this.
