Best 3 on 3 hockey ever. Not even an argument. The talent. The stage. The back and forth momentum.
@jacobsedgwick86172 ай бұрын
the most exciting 4 minutes and 11 seconds of hockey i've ever watched. i'm here now after the tragic passing of johnny gaudreau because his play in this overtime, most especially beating henrik sedin to the puck off that wild rebound and setting up the game winning goal, really had me in awe of his talent. at the time i thought he was a special player, and though i didn't know him personally, the stories i've read about him today make it clear that he and his brother matty were even more special human beings. lives cut far too short, rest in peace john and matty gaudreau. may your families find warmth in winter.

and this my friends is why the NHL must expand 3 on 3 OT and ditch the stupid shootouts. 3 on 3 OT is the most exciting thing in sports. I'm a clairvoyant, so I know what I'm talking about.

*Legosoldater* It's all boring when your team doesn't win. Just more sour, salty Swede whining. Watch again while MacKinnon undresses Lunqvist, and hands him his underwear and socks. while the North American rookies dazzle Swedens most elite players. Boring? You Swedes could't give credit if your life depended on it. Down to the last one of you, you're a salty, whining and sniveling bunch of poor sports. So blind are you by your sniveling and whining, you are unable to recognize it as a character flaw, that, unchecked, is very likely why you can't win at the top level.

Everyone on this side of the Pond wanted to see an all NA final and, in that case, it would have been far from certain which team would have won... although Team Canada would have been the betting favorite, on paper... It still bugs me that the U23 kids didn't make the semis, after losing to the Russians, in a game they dominated save for a 6 minute stretch, when the Russians scored 3 times on 3 shots, AFTER Murray broke his hand and failed to signal the bench he was hurt, until again AFTER the damage was done...In all likelihood Murray's hand was numb and , for sure, he didn't know it was broken... Still a tad shortsighted and selfish on his part.... Hindsight being 20/20 Team North America had to beat Sweden in regulation to ensure themselves a spot in the semis... The coaches knew this, but the players were never told... When McKinnon scored in OT, he said he thought that meant they were safely thru... Not sure what possessed the bench boss not to tell the boys EXACTLY what they needed to do...STUPID
