Swedish Air Force Lockheed C-130 Hercules Landing & Takeoff at Bern!

Witness the incredible Lockheed C-130 Hercules Swedish Air Force as it descends towards Bern in Switzerland, it leaves an unmistakable trail of black smoke behind it. This old bird has been in service since May 1981, and it's still soaring high. With its four-engine turboprop, it can transport over 20 tons in a single go. The best part? It can land on short, unprepared strips. And let's not forget about that distinctive roar that sends shivers down the spine of any plane enthusiast. This is a machine that truly commands respect.

Matt my good friend , great catch & these planes are work horses in our military( we have many) plus you will see them used as cargo planes for commercial industry , also still see DC-3's in the cargo industry , but not many. God Bless you & D from T & I , btw, Lockheed manufactured my fave plane the L10-11 used by airlines & our military. I think it was much better structurally than the DC 10 or MD 11

It's amazing to see how versatile they are, serving as cargo planes and playing important roles in transportation.
