Funny how in 2016 not many people get the joke. The intellectual level was much higher back then than modern comics (and audiences). This is a brilliant sketch using the Swedish accent as a play on the word aerosol and arsehole. Just genius stuff.

Simon Finch Oddly enough I think swearing on TV is one of the few things that has become more accepted, if you mean this sketch specifically then the language used is pretty tame by todays standards. Though most of the sketches in this programme to do with race for example were more about poking fun at racists rather than at the race themselves, although you do find people can't seem to understand the difference in recent years. The 'removed from TV showings' scene from Fawlty Towers about the Major going to The Oval is a prime example of that.

Can't believe people are so fussed about how good the accents are. They set the scene as Swedish and make a joke about misunderstanding 'ball or aerosol" for "ball or arsehole" Such a simple sketch being taken far too seriously The poor accent makes it funnier!!!!!!
