I love that you said that ... The forest never judges me. I lived deep in the woods in the Pacific Northwest for 7 years with the river running just outside my room. Melted snow in winter due to frozen pipes and ran the wood stove for heat. I love your documentary, it makes me long for that peace you speak of and I know is real.

I too live in the Pacific Northwest in the middle of the forest. We have snow at this point in February you've lived here you know that that's not unusual but we've had it for like almost 2 weeks straight. It's cold it's wet it's beautiful. It's too bad that all our world can't see the beauty around them not worry about what you have. It took me awhile to understand that possessions are not what makes you happy it's what God-given beauty is and the people around you give you through love.

Honestly. I cried.I'm glad that she lives the life she wanted so much. She found her happiness inspiration. This is the main thing. A family. House. Garden. Photography and video. Painting. The blog. This is all so interesting and not so simple.Yes, this is not the same “ordinary” work that we are used to. For example, I work as an ordinary seller for little money. I work as a clothing seller and every day I see only a gray city and gray people.I do not see beautiful sunrises and bewitching sunsets. She sees. And I'm glad that I can see what she sees through her video.I just want to say thanks. Thank you for such important words that she spoke at the stones. We must be who we are. Our soul is the main thing.I just hope that someday we will all be as happy as Jonna Jinton/

I never internalized the societal expectations around me, but it still affected me because I didn't know what else there was, and I wasn't actively refusing it(knowing otherwise). My clothing choices, the way I look, what i want to become, how I behave, and how I 'should' think are all things I'm overcoming. Like being able to dance freely in public, thinking the way I want to think when I'm in a conversation, not feeling like I'll be judged when people see me in whatever weird clothes I want to wear. Letting go of that, and learning what I want.

I just adore Jonna for dancing to the beat of her own drum. She’s unapologetically her beautiful self. She needs not makeup or fancy clothes to be beautiful. She sings like an angel and lives like Jesus lived. I’ve never seen anyone like her and I find her fascinating. Her joy for life is contagious and she’s an inspiration to so many to follow their dreams no matter what anyone thinks. While she lives a seemingly simple life it’s actually truly complex and fulfilling. I am forever intrigued by this amazing woman and her life with her family in the north of Sweden. I still haven’t seen all of her videos but it won’t be long before I do because I’m watching them in every spare minute like a good book you don’t want to put down. You just wanna keep reading even though you have so much to do. This morning I watched the one of Jonna n her fabulous husband in Yosemite here in the states. These videos have been blessing to start my day with such a beautiful soul. I take care of my Mom who’s living with Alzheimer’s. She too is fascinated with Jonna. It’s a really calming for her. I’m grateful that she can still see the beauty in things. She especially loves Jonna’s singing. It’s soothing and mystical. 🌞🎼✨🌎
