Welcome to the Philippines Johan! Enjoy your stay. Venture as far as Northern Luzon. Right now you’re in the southern part of the Philippines. Remember there are three large islands , Luzon , Visayas and Mindanao. So my advice is to travel to Luzon and venture as far as to the Ilocos region where the president comes from.The Philippines has smaller islands and if you go to the northern tip part of Luzon , go to Batanes island. Take note the different cultures and traditions that each province has and you would be amazed how the variable cuisines each province has to offer plus of course the beautiful and remarkable sceneries you see in Luzon. You’re already there. You may as well take this opportunity to visit the different islands of my country. Take care and stay safe.
