This is such an interesting concept. In Chavacano, we have two words for "where" : onde and donde. "Onde" is used to ask for the location of an immovable thing like a house or the hometown of someone whilst "donde" is used to ask for the (temporary) location of something or someone. Eg. Onde el dituyu casa? Where is your house? Donde el dituyu nana? Where is your mother? To ask "Onde el dituyu nana?" can imply that the mother of the person being asked is dead and had already been buried.

Hi. Nice explanation. However, how about distance? For example: “Det är 123 mil mellan Kiruna och Stockholm”? How would you see/understand/explain that use? Thank you in advance.

I need dialogues with Swedish subtitles. My idea is: what about recreating famous scenes of films? Take any famous film, for example "The Matrix", and recreate the dialogue of a certain scene but in Swedish, with Swedish subtitles.

​@@citroen143 much = mycket, many = manga. Du har mycket mjöl, du har mycket pengar, altså much flour, much money. And not "many money or many flour. En mjöl, två mjöl, en pengar, två pengar fungerar inte! Därför har man enheter. En kilo, två kilo mjöl, eller en, två tre dollar, kronor, euro... Mycket mjöl kan betyder du har många kilo mjöl. Mycket pengar betyder många euro. Engelskans "lot of" kan fungerar också på räkenbara saker när det är en stor uppgift att räkna. A lot of stars in the sky. A lot of people in China live in the North East....
