i think the patterns sound cleaner if you hammer on and pull off when you have 2 or more notes on the same string, but i guess it's just down to personal preferance!

hes not a bad teacher, because if you have practised sweeping before and got somewhere with it youd know exactly what hes talking about, heres a tip concentrate on your legato for your sweeps, the pick will follow through, and dotn forget the the doubles at the root, and at the end. just wait till tyou start string skipping! XD LMAO
