I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mick Tucker in the summer of 1990 in San Diego, California. He was an amazing person, a real gentleman, and probably the most under-rated drummer in rock history. Truth is, Mick was an AMAZING drummer and he will never be forgotten by those that knew the incredible human being and unequaled talent he truly was. Long live his memory and the music of Sweet.

My favorite drummer bar none! Not much I can say here that hasn't been said already.. The one thing I can add is has anyone seen how he twirls his stick? It is in reverse compared to how 99% of all drummers do stick twirls. Take a look at any of the videos showing his infamous stick twirls the stick actually goes in reverse of what would be a natural forward twirl!!!! RIP

This might sound like an absurd statement, but here goes. Either Mick is a Cozy Powell clone(drumming wise) or Cozy is a Mick clone. Their style, beat, solos are very similar. When I first heard Fox on the Run and saw the double bass kit, I thought it was a young Cozy! There, I said it, can't take it back now!
