Sweet Baby Solomon @ 80 Weeks ~ The Great I Love You ~ Beauty in the Chaos

Sweet Solomon has started saying, "I love you." What more wonderful phrase could a mother hear from her child? Sometimes he makes a game out of it, and we go back and forth for quite a while. Such a sweetheart.
Izziah and Judea have rediscovered their stringed instruments. I am grateful for their interest in music, my ears are still recovering. Solomon especially enjoys their antics and beautiful songs. He is intrigued with almost anything they are doing, especially if sound or movement are involved.
Solomon attended his first baby shower this weekend at our church, a lovely family is preparing to welcome another sweet baby into their life. Solomon enjoyed the decorations and playing with the other small children.
We have had some lovely late summer weather and have enjoyed a lot of outdoor time. Our outdoor plants remind us that a bit of rain would be welcome at this point. Watching a video from this time last summer I did note that our corner of the world looked a lot greener than it does here right now.
How can we complain? What a wonderful life God has blessed us with.
