Incredible talent and teacher. I’m subscribed and always look forward to seeing your lessons because they’re so complete and detailed. The devils in the details. You make it easier by splitting it up into a series of phrases. Thank you doesn’t seem enough.

This is really great...I loved the Comfortably Numb videos too, the most accurate I've ever seen anyone play/teach it. Can I ask what you meant when you said "well his Les Paul copy" on this lesson?
@lightningthatsgood7 жыл бұрын
I’ve heard that Slash has a Les Paul which was a 59 luthier-made replica, so maybe that’s the one Carl’s talking about, but don’t take my word for it.
@JonathanSH3 жыл бұрын
A little bit (7) years late but might as well answer. The les Paul that Appetite For Destruction was recorded with was a really nice les paul copy bought for I think 2500. The Slash Collection has a replica of it

4:20 How do you do that part? Its impossible! can someone help me? how do i practice it
@iRafaelkr8 жыл бұрын
Have you already tried Metronome? That's what I used to the part that starts at the 17:15 on the Pt.5, check that out. It's a little fast lick too.. You just start practicing slow and eventually you will get there increasing the speed as you feel confortable.. If you don't know how to use a metronome I believe that here in YT you can find lot of tutorials on how to use it etc. Anyways, hope it helps you learning that solo ;)

+Pedro Oliveria I know this is really late and you can probably play it by now, but I found out that keeping your first finger barred at the 12th fret helps (at least for me).
@docjonski22576 жыл бұрын
IKR!😳 I knpw you probably know how to play the lick and entire song already, I'm havin a bit of difficulty with that part as well, same with the previous lesson (part 5) lots of fast lick there too! But if ever you still are trying to learn it the. start slow and keep practicing, what helped me is that i practiced it slow at first then rest, do other things, then pick up the guitar again, do the lick again, stop, do the entire lick from the start up to that part then do it over and over again then rest again (you get the drift) don't worry bro we'll get there! Goodluck!👍🏼

you can play it by barring the 8th E and B and hammering on the 12th B and E
