I'm almost 50 years old and this reminds me of my Dad who passed last year. Some of my best times as a kid were with him at his farm (aka grung). 😁 My best Christmas was with my Dad, Mom and Brother at his Farm for the day....things taste so different when its cooked in the bush on wood fire. This pudding looks just like what my parents made....nice and rustic. Keep it up Colaz, Socks and Team....loving the videos.

I can so relate.. I dislike working in the "grung" but truly enjoy the food part. We use to eat out of cheese pan, cocoa leave or calabash. The "pitaata puddin" was a saturday or sunday thing. Fond memories.

I think you guys should start a cooking/camping overnight experience on the farm. If you do, whenever I visit I would definitely pay to have that experience. Invest in some sleeping bags. That one would be wicked.

I think I'll try making potato pudding . My dad was the boss at making potato pudding but he hadn't done it in a while. The ways you guys make it with the tin sheet and coal pot is how I used to see granny and my mom make bread and tarts. Thanks for the memories of my child hood.
