Sweet Ring Pour/Acrylic Pour using MIX Pouring medium!
Small but sweet ring pour acrylic pour using MIX Pouring medium as well as floetrol. I have never had a problem with using floetrol and MIX pouring medium in the same pour. My MIX came yesterday afternoon and today will be my first time playing with it. I love the two people who invented this product. They are quick to answer questions and very informative. I am going to attempt a swipe , which means I will need to thin the MIX out a bit. I love the opaque look of this product so I am hoping I get good results. I have a two huge paintings to do for a client who has a huge wall she wants to cover. So today is an experiment before the diptych .....

Morgan Campbell , I know the very next day I went on their website and saw the memo on the shipping delay. I mixed my paints and will be in the studio shortly to see how I like the MIX. I usually use 50/50 floetrol and Golden GAC800. I just loved the opaque look with the MIX.

I once asked my post office how it is that we are able to get free shipping from some companies and they said that it's because they ship in such big volumes that they get a big discount. I am sure that this company will soon be shipping in big volumes and will be able to get a good discount from the US postal service. Hopefully they are in discussion with their post office about this as the postage can be exorbitant. I sure am looking forward to it being available for us in Australia. I get the white chunkies from the Artists Loft flow white lately, too! I can't see them in the cup, or even when I pour, but after an hour or so, they pop up in several places. It's very frustrating!!!

It's lovely Sarah. Really appreciate you promoting MIX pouring medium, but after checking, they do not do international shipping.....which is a shame. I'm in the UK and looking for an alternative to floetrol. Shame they don't ship outside the U.S

$13.50 for shipping for 1/2 gallon of Mix($25)....says they have no black bottles but are now shipping(2-3 weeks), in white? Is this the same product? The webpage is very limited for information. Hmmm. Love this little painting-the colors are fantastic and would love to try the Mix product but the cost is prohibitive for me. :( Will have to stick to Flotrol for now.

There seems to be a lot of good going for this new pouring medium, but I'm sorry the name is terrible. Even when you were talking about it you got all Tangled up in describing it as a product vs an action i.e. to mix. It seems they were stumped on what to name it so they just got lazy and said mix. Lol. It would be better if they added a positive descriptive word to the name of they wanted to keep mix in the name. Such "i'll be using Wonder Mix as our PM today" or "crazy mix cause it's down right crazy how beautiful your art will turn out when using this product. Idk, something that let's a user know something about the medium to draw them to the product. Mix alone sounds like you're describing an action not a product. Please know my thoughts arnt aimed to be rude as that's not who I am but rather constructive feedback cause I'm sure I'm not alone and really do hope and wish great success for this company. Cheers
