Hi Gina. I just stumbled upon this video, even though I've been following for at least a year. I think those colors are gorgeous. I have bought a set of pre-mixed paints that I can't wait to try. So, thank you sharing this video and I have a question, sorry if you already answered it, you mentioned the lack of cells. What do you think would have happened if you had used silicone? In other words, can you add silicone to pre-mixed paints?

They are available in the US. These are what I picked to start pouring and I do like them. I didn’t like that the ingredients aren’t listed or the opacity. They also don’t list the ingredients on the pouring medium which smells really close to Elmers Glue so I’m wondering about the lightfastness and how it’ll stand up long term.

I was wondering how those worked ... I've used Hobby Lobbys version and they are just fine but much better priced at 5.99 also have their own medium and silicone. They do not add any info on the bottle either. So if Michael's is trying to go head to head with HL ... sorry Michael's lost big time on this one with their excessive over pricing on their items as usual. I live at Michael's only because they offer the best coupon savings but when I saw these on their website I just had to laugh. !!! HL version produces good cells also right out of the bottle , they also come in 4 or 5 bottle sets and I think the single bottles come in more color choices than the AL brand.......
@LifeIsKumquat5 жыл бұрын
To be fair, the Hobby Lobby bottles are less than half the ounces of these AL bottles (AL is 16.9oz and HL is 8oz) - so the price is closer than it appears. I personally would also honestly prefer a pre-mixed paint that doesn't create cells on its own - that way I can decide if I want them or not depending upon the technique and then add silicone on my own.

@vanessapearl82135 жыл бұрын
I think they could do a much better job. The gold just put a sheen over the entire painting. That is a clear indication of it being too thin. The colors should be more defined. I will not be buying this product. What if you had done a cool tone and a warm tone, you’d have so much mud you wouldn’t know what to do lol.
@GinaDeLuca5 жыл бұрын
You are 100% right. The gold wouldn’t have done that if it were thicker. It’s a shame, it would have been a great product for beginners if it worked. The lack of coverage on the sides is an absolute no go for me.
