Amanda your new home is gorgeous. It's a mix of familiar, like the entry way, yet different, like the kitchen windows. The last few episodes I've been mesmerized by the snow falling out the kitchen window. I had to rewatch to pay attention to you.😄 I'm from upstate NY living in NC and I miss the snow falling but not so much the bad roads for driving. Hopefully there will be more snow events. I'm bingeing these as I've been away most of Advent. Your scarf present is beautiful. I'm sure she will love it coming from her boyfriend's mom will make it extra special.

I love snowy days with comfort meals! We had some nice days that were cold and snowy, but today the weather was warmer, the snow melted and tomorrow and the next few days are rainy. I prefer snow over rain and mud. You have such great friends! The gifts you exchanged were so personalized which is nice. I would have loved making the wreath with all of you. I hope your day was restful, and you enjoyed having the kids over. I love that they join you and Dan each Sunday for dinner. I wish mine lived closer! See you tomorrow!

We are flooded ! Not the house but the village….. the. Ridge to the neighbouring town is closed, the exit to another town is closed, all the surrounding villages as Re cut off and many bridges are closed due to damage from flood water…. It’s going to be a soggy Christmas xx I made your fudge on Saturday! You look like you had a great evening xxxx

I’ve been wondering where you’ve found your jammies, they look so cozy, I have some really pretty flannel ones from Vie En Rose but yours are a different style that I really like. I’ll bet the house smelled amazing , your stew is basically the same as mine but I add a hand full of barley and use squash instead of turnip and I add a quarter tsp. sugar to take the bitterness that sometimes happens with the summer savoury. When my grandkids were little they called the dumpling’s ducklings which we thought was so cute 🥰. My dumplings are different, have a little melted butter and milk instead of water, they’re all yummy 😋. I hope you have an early night , the girls night looked like so much fun. 🙋🏼‍♀️

I recently got a similar one but it goes to below my knees and is bigger and has a hood making it snuggley and warm I found it in the plus size dept. of Walmart , they had about 5 different colours but I picked grey. I don’t know if that’s helpful but just in case🥰🙋🏼‍♀️
