(to be clear, this was just a quick shitpost idea I had lol, nothing serious, and I do acknowledge ofc that Bethesda didn't really lie about this, rather just didn't really cast much light onto it)
Hope you'll excuse a little more off topic vid for this channel, but once I saw this news, the video idea just manifested in my head lol. (also the song is absolute banger ngl)
But otherwise no worries, I don't plan on doing any Starfield content going forward, in fact I'm planning (hopefully) a little series of a bit more effort/informative Elite videos when I have more time on that o7

You can roam all over the planets you can only explore so far on foot before you have to go back to your ship and you can manually select your own landing zone little bit further away😂

I've got big respect to yours work but unfortunately I do have to strongly disagree with you on that one. Bethesda never lies on this subject. Rather, didn't speak much about it until the last moment. Tod was very clear when saying that the planets are going to be tiled with loading screen transition. I would also expect the same thing with travelling between planets and to be fair, it's not a big deal for me.

Yea this was pretty much just meant as a funny Todd vid. They indeed never lied about this really, more like just didn't give the sincerest informations they could have.

Hm, but tbh not sure now if he said there would be loading screen transitions. I just know He said they made the tiles generation system which then they just tweaked by hand a bit and the system then kinda blended them together and as far as I'm aware it's been then left unanswered whether there would be loading screen or you would just be able to walk between those Tiles as they've been blended. They also said you will be able to explore whole planet, which might be But this might make it pretty tiresome. But anyways, yea this wasn't meant as any sort of Attack or bashing on Starfield, altho I would say they might have been a bit more transparent. For what it's worth Im sure it will be an awesome singleplayer bethesda RPG just like they've all been. Just won't be anything close to "hard/er" sim like Elite with a real Freedom of movement and that shouldn't even be expected.
