I could tell that the food at this wonderful restaurant was going to taste good because it looked like it was cooked to perfection. From the catfish and chicken to every side dish and the unique looking cornbread, it all looked FANTASTIC! I just wished that I could try their food, but I am glad I was able to experience it vicariously through JL. On another note… Okay, it’s JL’s head for me. He is so handsome! I think this is the first time I’ve seen JL without a hat on his head. Please take your hat off more often JL.

You got to have sweet tea when you have great southern style comfort food. Fried catfish looks good. I would of done the same like JL, dip the fried catfish in hot sauce. Tartar sauce is good, but hot sauce is my go to dip. The yams are not overly sweet with added sugars, they let the natural yams sweetness shine. Mac n cheese and grits looks good. The dark meat is my favorite when it comes to fried chicken. The leg quarters and the wings are the best pieces of the chicken.

Wow the great place to go to their food is really good I was able to go there with a friend of mine's on the food is really good the cornbread and also the appetizer of it I believe they're called doubled eggs there is Eva legs are really good too I wish people would introduce the chef I know you do sometimes but I would have loved to hear who is Ashley doing all the cooking at Sweet teas because that's the person is really making that restaurant good the cooking and and having people to come back thank you so much I really enjoyed your your participative going around and tasting everyone's food I sure enough to know I love to cook too but I don't know if you go to people's homes and cook what I do a big Sunday dinner at my house with my children's friends alright peace God bless

You had a couple of best evers and game changers in the video, but watching it all I can say is I'm betting they are. Between the mac n cheese, the greens and the cornbread I want to have them all. If I still talked with my brother who lives in Upper Montclair, I'd suggest that he give it a try. The vibe is a little different from where I've eaten down south, but hey, I'm just here for the food.
