Mmmmm the food is placed so beautifully and appetizing. I could almost smell it off the screen. Now I have to make me some grits & fish for sure. I each mine with butter, sugar and I sprinkle a little bit of black pepper on the top (lots of butter like the one you was eating). The butter is what makes it. Good video.

JL thank you for going to one of my hometowns and showed support. As a recommendation I would go to Sandwiches Unlimited in Orange when you get a chance. They have a lot of hot and cold sandwiches. Lots of variety and a lot of people get the salad. Thank you again for just being authentic and showing love to the tri state. Be safe 1. One more place too Jimmy Buffs in West Orange.

I love Jefferson's. I used to put hot sauce and syrup on my chicken. The fish and soul food is very good. The uptown is one of the best in NJ. The desserts are yummy too.

Jefferson's is a Montclair institution! Great community spot! It is still thriving in the midst of gentrification! Now you have to go around the corner to Crockett's on Bloomfield Ave. and get some fried fish!
