In Nigeria, among the ijebu tribe of the yorubas, instead of cassava, we use a specie of yam called the water yam. We add diced onions, scotch bonnet, salt and sometimes bullion seasoning. We dont squeeze out the water, the water is very important in the recipe. It is traditionally called "ojojo" I would be very happy of you look into this and open do a comparison video. Africans have similar culture... I am proud to be an African
