Absolutely wonderful, as usual. I just wish there were videos about grammar topics, not just phrases to repeat and memorize (however useful they might be for foreign tourists). 감사합니다 :)

I really like this new format. It's so much better than just learning one single word. Thanks so much for doing these. I first started to learn Korean with your Hangeul vids. Thanks

That subway app is so helpful and easy to use. Also everyone in Seoul is so helpful, even if they're shy speaking in english they'll do anything to help you.

When in Seoul it was very easy to find stations and taking the subway was very easy as well, as long as you have a map(freely available at the tourist desk of Incheon airport). Knowing how to read hangul helps a lot with navigating. What was kind of funny was that when we opened the map anywhere in public people would approach us to offer help. I found the people very friendly. Korea's public transportation is very convenient.

Good video. A lot of info. I just wanted to mention what someone said about 'yes' and 'no' as it appears in the video. Thanks.

a video about the airport please :) i work at vienna airport and we have a lot of tourists here. most of the koreans/japanese passengers are very cooperative but it would be very helpful to know some common phrases!

Very helpful! Just a small correction for the romanized translation (around the 4:00 mark) for Yes, it's "Nei" and for No, it's "Aniyo". Probably just got reversed during the editing but overall very good video! :)
@BatLB9 жыл бұрын
actually, its "ne" or "ye", thats how I learned it.
@aglowkeys9 жыл бұрын
0BlaiddDrwg0 same here! The correct romanization is "ne", there's no "ei" sound.

Ignore all romanized words. It was a test to see who is learning Hangul! hehe not really. Probably.

When I travelled to korea with my boyfriend, we once managed to get on the proper train line but going in the wrong direction. I don't remember what line it was but we got a nice look at the outskirts of town before the train headed in the right direction again. Also, I wish I had plucked up the courage to buy a face mask from the auntie on the train as I brought a nasty cold back stateside with me.

Is there a difference between 어디예요 and 어디 있어요?? This whole time I've just been saying "(the place where I want to go)에 어디예요?" I've been understood when using it, but you used both in this video so just wondering. Sorry if I misspelled anything lol.

What kind of jobs can an English speaker get in Korea... or Spanish too. Just you know to have a part-time job while visiting.
@Liquidcadmus9 жыл бұрын
con espanol es casi imposible. pero si tenes un pasaporte de un pais nativo de lengua inglesa entonces podes ensenar ingles.
@mporvichova9 жыл бұрын
I think if you know korean, you can get any job (which is possible for you to get in your own country). If you can't speak korean and you're not from english speaking country, it's impossible for you to get any jobs (for english teacher you need english to be your first language.

mkay. I guess that could work. Would help get a better insight in cultural differences.

I am wondering if you really need that advice, if you're far enough into the language to understand or memorize that lesson.
