@@FrailSerenity You think so? I once tried one and it tasted like sugar. Delicious sugar, but just overwhelmingly sweet and not much more (it was a regular macaroon). To me it's overpriced sugar, but I still like the challenge as a hobby baker.

this hit home for me in the most hilarious way ever as the person who bakes and decorates cakes for my family members birthdays, particularly my younger brothers the cakes get real strange and random real quick lol they always start off with one main idea and by the time youre done executing what they requested the main idea is barely peeping out in some random corner this September..... my youngest brother : "Minecraft themed cake ...... with spiderman ....... oh and the avengers ........... and also i like legos so lets do legos.......... oh and everything should be red! no other colour................. and btw i hate icing .............. so yh thats how i want it to be decorated............ oh and sprinkles................. and police officers ..................thankssssssss" or the time there was almost a lego themed harry potter cake with minecraft goodness gracious kids!!! lmao

I actually just left it out this time as I was decorating and refrigerated later! It is quite cool now where I live though so if it’s warm I do suggest intermittently putting it in the fridge 🥰

It's funny that you mentioned the fact that the buttercream finish wasn't as important on this one because of all the details you would be adding - I finally discovered that same thing recently with a cake I made, and now I know how much time I can save on the frosting step when I'm making a cake with lots of goodies on it! Hey Ashley. In some countries in Europe, student housing don't have a big oven in the kitchen or sometimes people only have the mini oven / microwave. @@candicebaker2663 ooo it doesn’t bleed that easily actually! If you’re worried you can definitely place it in the fridge for a bit, but it’s all about how much buttercream you apply in the first place that will really help you. Definitely recommend trying it out!!

I think for some kids that totally would’ve been a plausible ask, but knowing my daughter I knew she would stay within a particular realm so I gave her free reign with that knowledge.
