How to fold a hexagonal box with a beautiful diamond pattern. You will need a sheet of A-sized paper, and no cutting nor gluing needed.

I can't do the lid. or the bottom, I tried 10 times, wasted perfectly fine paper, somehow my house is a mess now, papers everywhere. but overall, good patience practice. I had 5 tantrums, my jaw is grinding now and I can smash my phone anytime.

made it at least 20 times, it's so pretty! somehow messed up and the last one and its' base ended up being a pentagon instead of a hexagon lol. but it still looks somewhat decent haha

I don't know if I could do the last part without crumpling it & throwing it across the room. You have great patience & attention to detail. I wonder if stiffer cardstock would make the process of folding this easier or more difficult?

I recommend shaping the lid first and open to flat sheet, then start making the bottom. It will make easier to close the lid at last. (With card stock, ruler and eyelet are necessary to make all the score lines and it might be difficult.)

I liked this very challenging model, but it took me some time at the end to figure out how to get the hexagon to lie flat as demonstrated and the layers to orient as they were indicated in the model. I don't know if I could do this again!

正方形の場合は、最初に１：1.4 (15cm折り紙なら、横15cm ｘ 縦10.6cm)にカットしてからご使用ください。でもかなり小さくて折りにくいかも知れません。

硬い紙は難しいので、初めはコピー用紙で作ってみて下さい（側面を強く持つとペコっとなりますが...)。硬い紙で挑戦する場合は斜め線を目打ちなどで引いてから折ってください。

Hey, I'm having some problems! I don't have that size of paper and when I use printer paper it doesn't make the sevenths all even then it makes it harder to fold what should I do?

I guess you used 8.5" x 11" paper, whose ratio is 1 : 1.3. Cut the paper into 1 : 1.4 (7.8" x 11" ), so that you can make sevenths.
