I am lucky to live only 2 hours away, and have visited a ton of times when buying new gear. The renovation they did is great. Their drum room is probably at least 3 times the original size. I always buy my gear from Sweetwater if possible.

Pretty much a insult to even remotely compare to guitar center. Guitar center is like the slums compared to sweetwater. I'm fortunate enough to live a hour away it is worth the trip

@@MrBrandonshayna Nah. Here in ft wayne our guitar center had way friendlier staff. Sweetwater has snobish staff that treats people new to the hobby quite un-seriously. Guitar center we had welcomed everyone. Super good crew of people. Sweet water has nicer stuff. but its a massive downgrade in terms of staff.

My son lives near Ft. Wayne. We stop here whenever our travel plans allow it. I can't get enough of the synth room (just ask my wife). And as a coffee snob, I can attest that the coffee there is indeed excellent (for bulk brew). But I've never had a tour of the DC, so this is awesome.

Sweetwater is the BEST ! Ordered an acoustic guitar about 18 months ago , after about 4 months I noticed the neck started to crack away from the body . Sent an e mail off with pictures and within 2 days received an email telling me that a replacement was on its way and to return the defective one , smooth as silk , no hassle , DONE ! And no charges .

Impressive facility, however I recently bought a guitar from Sweetwater. I also paid $60 for a setup on the guitar. I had to redo the setup because the strings were so far from the fretboard, and the pickup toggle switch did not work. I asked for a refund on the setup, and never got it. Keep in mind this was a thousand dollar guitar. At this point I think a few less square feet of showroom to afford proper Q&A might be a good decision.

If you don’t buy the guitar in person I personally would not do a setup… you have no idea what that instrument will go through during shipping… sitting in a hot warehouse or cold… sitting in the delivery truck, etc… do the setup once you get it.
