Our kids are grown and my DH retired last June 🥳. So, our plans are to relax and enjoy our pool, vegetable garden and sunshine this Summer. Of course, i want to stitch as much as possible. I am a new subscriber. I am also a teacher. I spend my time by our pool, canning from our garden, and trips to the beach. Husband and I also set aside a week to host camp Nana Pana. Our 8 grandchildren plus various cousins come to stay and enjoy spending time together away from their parents. We paint, sew, build something, ex: rockets, trebuchet, etc., swim, go on day trips, make camp shirts, endless games and activities. We really have an enjoyable time. I wonder how you have found the time to stitch so much. You must not sleep. Lol. 1,2,4,8,9

I still have four weeks left of school. (Not that I’m counting. Of course I’m counting!) Quite a busy summer. We have two weddings to go to, our daughter is graduating from high school, and our whole family is going to Yellowstone together. We just got back from a transatlantic cruise, visiting Portugal, Spain, France and England. We spent 4 days in London then flew to Iceland for 3 days. That was my bucket list for this year. 3, 4, 5

I love the pillow finishes in your dough bowl. I taught school when my 4 kids were little and I know you are exhausted. I am amazed at all you juggle to accomplish everything. Our summer plans right now are, going to Idaho on June 7th-13th to see my son and his girlfriend before they move to Finland. Then June 23rd we are going to North Carolina to surprise my one son for his 40th birthday and see my daughter-in-law and my grandson and granddaughter. You are such a pleasure. Thank you. My summer plans are to start and finish radiation treatments and then recuperate from any fatigue. I had a partial mastectomy in April, then scans and tests etc show no trace left anywhere , but I'm doing radiation as some "insurance" against recurrence. So prognosis excellent! I'll be done with treatments before my 70th birthday and should be all recuperated by our September Rhine River Cruise! Numbers 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are appealing

Congrats on being able to stay home with your kids! I just found you today! Hello! So my summer plans: well, I plan to stitch, stitch and stitch some more! I'm a retired Mawmaw and I"ll get my 2 youngest grandsons for a week or so. Other than that I do lead a Ladies Bible Class, yes during summer also. I stitched years ago when my daughter was very small, put it down for awhile, picked it up then back down.....my mom stitched all the family stockings....now that she passed I decided the 2 youngest grandkids need a stocking so I picked it up and THEN......my daughter decided to start stitching. While on a short road trip we stopped at 2 cross stitch shops in Arkansas and I bought lots of projects and thought I need to do alot of catching up on my stitching! This summer I am attending Stitch Con in Cincinnati, and I am also attending a quilting retreat in July. I was supposed to attend a wedding in NC in august, but the couple was involved in an accident and their injuries won't allow them to travel by then so that trip is on hold. I will be spending a lot of time relaxing at cottage enjoying boat rides and sandy beaches.1,

My summer plans are to first just to relax and enjoy my summer with my three boys. We are planning to go to our cabin in the woods. Go to the beach/Ocean, lots of pool hopping(our extend family have pools so we get to go to a bunch of different pools), go to a water park and then go to an amusement park/ water park that's side by side. We are big travelers retired life , day trips. Enjoy your children while they are young. Whenever possible be home. There is so much to keep us busy as a wife and mother anyway. Why add a job to the mix. That just causes us to eat out more and the extra money never seems to help where it’s needed. I enjoyed your flosstube. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 .
