for those wondering why you would need 256 polyphony when there's only 88 keys, with the sustain pedal on each note pressed adds to the polyphony including the same note multiple times

Hold the sustain pedal for several measures of a busy piece. That should maximize your usage of polyphony.

If you want to sound like a pro keyboardist use these: Polyphony LFO Equalization FM synthesis Modulation Ok. But never use this one: Transpose. ..... yikes.
