Having been lucky enough to hang with him during a TPS Experience day back in June (inevitably with Daniel and Mick too) for a while I can confirm that Mr Andy Timmons is. I expect Don is too. ❤

Andy Timmon was a late discovery in my life and He is, no doubt, one of the best musicians that ever played a guitar. I can't get enough of his playing and music. However, I am here to comment on the quality of the recording of the sounds on this video. Whoever made this happen I bow to you. I am a crusader on the matter that you cannot mic the amps if you want to be true to the tone that you'd be listen to if you were in the room. The quality of the sound on this in this video worth any minute of the video. Mind blowing, The capture of the tones coming from his rig on this video is the best one that I've ever heard. Whatever you are doing, keep like it what was made on this video. The quality of the capture of the tones is a real treat. If your goal is to demonstrate tone, do never mic the amps. Record the room, like this video.

I've been lucky enough to sit in on a recording session and help carry the gear in this video! I can verify for everyone watching that Andy is just as talented and kind in person as he is in the video. For anyone unfamiliar, check out his Sgt. Pepper cover album. He's a wizard with a guitar if you aren't already convinced by this video!

I bought a Halo pedal at Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney, TX… not because it says Andy Timmons on it… but because I tried it in the store and loved it. Brought it home, and can honestly say it is one of those pedals that opens up a creative part of your brain you didn’t realize was there. Love this pedal and can’t recommend it enough. I’m mostly a recording/live worship musician for point of reference… but grew up a metal guitarist (yes, a weird life).

Who does he play with, I’ve never heard of him?
@minkorrh2 жыл бұрын
@@officialWWM He was in a an 80's metal band called 'Danger Danger` and they were moderately successful but they got rolling at the tail end of the hair metal era, so their career went down with it. He spent that majority of the time doing session and studio work since then. Edit....He mentioned 'Olivia', ....he was Olivia Newton Johns musical director for many years also. I have to say he ranks up there with some of the greatest player imho. He has such versatility from the session work and a tone that once you hear it, is unlike any other player. To top it off he's an amazing human. He actually took the time to write to me after I reached out. 2 of my favorite tunes of his are 'Pink Champagne Sparkle' which has such a workup into a roaring finish, and 'Super 70's'. Try and listen to the studio versions.

New #AndyTimmons #KeeleyHaloDelay @14.10 About 5-6 Holy Grail EFx Delay Echo Echo Echo Pedals came out in 2022. Andy used a double EHx Deluxe Memory Man from the 19070-80s on his pedalboard. The Halo is a double delay and replaces the two EHx Deluxe Memory Mans and is much more sophisticated.
