I appreciate that Daniel is playing with his hands, rather than just punching in a sequence and letting it assault us for an hour like some gear demos. Also thanks for going the extra mile and showing us the 12 extra algorithms not on the front panel.

I've bought the Nemesis just afer watching Your previous video about using synths with delays! I'm very happy with it and the Ventris

Have to agree with Daniel. I've tested every delay pedal and the Nemesis beats them all. Timeline is great but when it comes to SOUND it can't compete with the Nemesis. When I've tested all the pedals I was very shocked that there's not such a hype about the Nemesis. Strymon imho is totally over-hyped. I have the Big Sky and the DECO, and I love both! But when it comes to delay the Nemesis is the BIG BOSS. Oto BIM is also awesome, but way overpriced and it doesn't have the flexibility of the Nemesis. The "problem" with the Nemesis and why there is not such hype about it is because nearly nobody (except Daniel in this video!) presented all of the insane features of the Nemesis. The huge list of what you can do, create and achieve with the Nemesis is just stunning. Especially when using the Neuro App! The pitch shifting plays in the same league as an Eventide, the Tape emulation is mind blowing and have you ever tried to move the time knob while feedback is high? It sounds like a real tape machine. The "diffuse" is amazing and blows away the attack feature from the new Walrus Mako D1! They promoting their pedal that it's the only pedal with that "attack" feature which is just not true, because the Nemesis also can do it but even better. So if you want the ultimate delay that can do everything and beyond, get the Nemesis.

Very informative, and at times, beautiful. Thanks for entering all those cc midi codes from the manual. I never would have heard them, otherwise.

This guy's playing is mesmerizing. Rick Wright re-incarnated to a 2.0 version... Does he play in a band?

Exactly my thoughts! He should form a band with Nick DiVirgilio and Don Carr!

would have been nice to get a real time change on the time parameter in analogue mode just to gauge whether it sounds shite, or emulates the smooth transitions on an analogue delay... also, self-oscillation possibilities ???

I just have to point out, the Binson Echorec and an oil can delay are two totally different things. (29:42)

Hi 👋🏼 does exist a way to use the time knob for pitch shifting while feedback works without hearing that crazy sound? I can't find a solution :/
@sweetwater Жыл бұрын
Hi robertodimaria-og4dy. Although a delay can be used to temporarily change the pitch, it only does that as you're turning the Delay Time knob. As you've noticed, the instant the Delay Time knob is no longer in motion, the pitch reverts back to its original pitch. What you need is a dedicated pitch-shifting pedal, which creates pitch offsets that stay for as long as you need them. _Daniel_

Hi thesrabbit. The Source Audio Nemesis is my absolute go-to delay pedal when I want an excellent, full-frequency, Stereo PingPong Delay that can simultaneously add a stunning 3D Stereo Chorus, all quickly tweaked with front-panel knobs. -_Daniel_

Dan, have you noticed that when running the pedal stereo [1 or 2 inputs] that the number 2 channel cuts out completely when the pedal if off? I've been trying, for a year, to get a straight answer from Source Audio if this is way the pedal is supposed to work. All I have been getting is the "run-around" from Nikko [support rep at SourceAudio]. It really shouldn't be that difficult of a question. Thanks for any help.
@rogersmith81554 жыл бұрын
Hi, Roger from Source Audio here. Please send a note to contact@sourceaudio.net. Be VERY clear about your setup and routing. If you are trying to sum to mono and you go to bypass, yes, you will lose the channel 2. This is a true bypass pedal and it makes no sense to sum 2 channels to one output. If you are asking something else, just let us know. You may have heard from Niko when he just joined the company. We are always VERY transparent about the routing of signals (look at the Ventris manual as an example).
@lvpg29434 жыл бұрын
@@rogersmith8155 Email sent Rodger, thanks. Respectfully, what makes no sense is that if you're running a stereo rig, then turn your delay off for a song, you lose 1 of your amps. Clearly, I must be doing something wrong as that would be completely ridiculous. Please don't misunderstand. I like the tones of the pedal and have had it for a while. My question [I thought] was a simple one.
@iNomis14 жыл бұрын
I run in stereo and do not loose channel 2 when bypassed.
