I enjoyed that video! Last year was the first year I kept careful track in a book of days (of my own making). It's so helpful! I recorded in there my wips, starts, finishes, ffos and other sewing and quilting projects. Then at years end, I got all my totals. It's so nice to see in black and white. Oh, and I keep track of what days I stitch. Last year was my first year ever (I've been stitching since the 70s) that I stitched 365 days out of 365 days. Talk about motivation!

That is my plan and I can’t wait to see the whole year in my book. I am going to use it to keep track of everything.

I’m as excited as you are for your mini retreat. I couldn’t think of three people more fun to spend the weekend with. I hope you video tape some of it so we can see the fun you are having. Love your Blessings finish. You did a great job on it. I also loved how you explained your Oops on another project and how you made it work. I just did the same thing with my Hands On Design Tree Lot pattern. I made my Oops work too!😊 Thanks for another fun video.

I love your videos you are very inspiring thank you. You said you wanted to use your sprocket (camera) more this year. This is how I use mine. When I’m kitting up a project I take a picture of the chart and I put the picture in a clear name tag holder that I purchase from Amazon then I attach it the zipper on my project bag so that I can tell what is in my project bag. On the trapper keepers that I make from Tiger Lilly pattern I attached it to the zipper on the inside pocket on a small notebook ring so that it’s long enough to flip to the outside of the keeper. When I’m finished with my project I can move the picture to my notebook or project card with all the stitching info. This is just a suggestion of what works for me and thought it might help you or someone else

It was fun to see your projects, I stitched Dasher and Dancer last year and absolute loved it! You won’t be able to put it down. Land That I Love was a beast but the finish is worth it! Can’t believe you’re starting for the third time, that’s perseverance! Of course it took perseverance for me to finish!😂😂😂

I started Teresa Kogut's Wisdom sampler on New Year's Day and was thinking about breaking it up by pages too. Do you alot a certain time frame to complete a page? This year I am going to try the calendar tracking method as well. I haven't decided what to officially use and have just jotted it down on a regular wall calendar while putting my monthly goals in a bullet journal. I think tracking is great if you're a multi crafter as well. Great video!
@sweetwaterstitcher Жыл бұрын
I haven’t decided on a certain time for competing the page but thought once I did that I might put it aside and work on something else. It would make me feel better about moving on to another project. I am also planning to show my book of days and explain more on how I am using it to track my stitching and everything that goes along with it in there. It will be my 1 stop shop for tracking this year.
@lillylane8832 Жыл бұрын
@@sweetwaterstitcher I really like that idea of one page then changing it up. I have learned that I need to use calendars as more of a record of what I've done rather than a plan of what to do. Much more positive that way!
