How did I miss these guys??? I recently found them watching a Rick Beato interview. This is PHENOMINAL music!

This is the band that all of the grunge bands loved back in the day when they played Seattle.

Rick Beato? Wow. That is one of the most talented musicians I've come across on YT.....but i been listening to these guys since late 90's.....so good. I just didn't expect Beato to even be interested. Cool tho

I was a fan of these guys in the 90s and they just never hit the big time in Europe, the music scene in the UK was full of amazing bands but their sound just didn't make it.

Hell Yeah. the best comeback album ever, it's like i'm in my 30's again...

I agree. I was blown away. The old machine had been sitting there in the garage for years; the turned the key and it started right up and they went swerving away on further adventures. Neither rehash nor reinvention, just another excellent Swervedriver record, what could be better?

This feels like riding the train to work everyday. All the components, the calm, the chaos, the beauty but with a divine purpose at the end of the day. Hope that's not too dorky. Edit: Jimmy is the man without question, he is half Swervedriver. And I love Mikey and Mick is cool too.

The radio still burns You're messed-up, high, and in love with everything And that's what I bring And now you're making it worse In a mixed-up world I can hear the chimes in spring And that's when all the rain begins We parked up by the pier Count one, two, three, climbing a ladder to the sky The police on the beach analyze You say the world just doesn't exist But tomorrow's memories out in the meadow run free As far as the eye can see Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso The radio still plays The mix is high but you know the blood has run cold That's when all your life can unfold And from the mangled metal frays Blazing thought forms drift off in the morning blue I wasn't born to lose you Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso Everso, everso, everso, everso

THIS IS A GREAT SONG. I’ve listened to this At Least 10-12x today. And yet even the last time just now it gave me Full Body Chills. TOP OF MY HEAD TO THE TIPS OF MY FINGERS TO THE TIPS OF MY TOES. Tunes like this one that take a simple 16 beat pattern and turn it inside out where it sounds all Off through the whole cycle UNTIL THE END when it turns out to end up right where it started are a particularly effective way of giving you the ability to step outside the standard 1-2-3-4 thing. ?? Oh, I don’t know. Is that it? Or is it just an eternal backbeat? It so Intuitive. It’s like the most logical thing in a way to deconstruct the standard 8 to the bar thing. But somehow without seeming TOO TRICKY. How do they DO THAT? And yea, I’m another Rick Beato referral. And quite glad of it too. You see; I’m a classical musician. Or sorta Was…

The fact of the matter of "The king if shoegaze" label. Where are all those bands on Creation now? Adam said 'This isn't going to be a legacy band if it should return." Well 2 albums and tours after that he made good on his word. Seriously...I wasn't born to lose you is a monsterous return to the scene. Now...where were those other bands? No new material in what? Look nothing against Ride, Oasis, Slowdive but they had a particular sound that perhaps you can only go so far in. Adam and Jimmy are rockers that incorporated minor elements of shoegaze. Thats why he's the king. To me it's your versatility as a musician that which makes you great.

Ride have continued producing new material. 2 new albums. I've got them but embarrassingly haven't really given them a listen.

The audio's not live; it's the album version. The video is a mix of shots from two different times, one live, I think, and the other pseudo "live" on a video studio. Note that there are two different bassists!
