That's a lot of 1.0 sorties to the MOA and back, and all those briefings. Congrats "Swervin". I spent my year at Enid by the Sea-Vance AFB.

Swervin had a 33 year flying career in the USAF. I had a buddy named CWO5 Steve Hubbard who had a 45 year career flying in the US Army Reserves. I served as a Major in the active duty USAF and respect Swervin for making Ltc. as an active duty USAF officer Major and then making Ltc. in the Reserves.

I Spent a lifetime at Willy... 84 to 91. Saw the fighting Jackrabbits of the 96th in the wall... Might have crossed paths with him once or twice but I was enlisted with 82FMS and 100th FTW.. I heard Newport, WA, and wondered if it is the East side or the West side of the state. Congratulations Col Waterman, Enjoy your "Growing" retirement.

Enjoyed this video. I was an F16 Crew Chief and served honorably for six years in the old school legacy Air Force, that sadly no longer exists. Thank you and your family for service to country. Congrats to you sir. Fair winds. Fly fast, keep your wings level. Salute and thumbs up.

Great Video and great story! Very touching and as a Pastor I truly appreciate “Swervins” desire to serve and to teach others. Favorite quote, “It was great teaching others how to fly. You kind of fly on through them.” This is what we need more of! People willing to slow down and teach/pour into others. It is more blessed to give than receive (Acts 20:35) and there is nothing better than pouring your heart, passion, talent, and life into others! Duplicate yourself! Bless you Swervin for sharing your gift with others and thank you for your service! I pray you have a blessed life with your family as you remember all the others that are flying on because of you and because of your passion and servants heart!

When all you do is fly airplanes, it is extremely difficult to get promoted. Remember that there are LT's and Captains who can also fly airplanes. Promotion to Colonel or General takes a lot more then flying airplanes. You have to attend SOS, ACSC, and AWC in addition to holding down many extra responsibilities in the Command structure.

so, in other words, this guy is like the Tom Cruise's character in the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick, where an older pilot, in for 3 decades, is STILL teaching trainees. So it IS a plausible plotline as to why, after @ 35 years in service, Pete Mitchell could be "only" a Captain (officer level O-6) in the Navy, when Kervin Waterman is a Lt. Colonel (O-5) in the Air Force.. hmm.

Highly unlikely on active duty. I don’t think Maverick is a reservist.

And ALL Wearing Masks. How did we Find ourselves in a situation as ridiculous as that was, and people just bent over backwards grabbing their ankles (quite A gymnastics move!) for it, with no questions asked. I say, NEVER AGAIN.
@timothygantner10 ай бұрын
I 100 percent agree - filming this, I hated the masks. I moved from LA to Texas for the job and still had to deal with this non-sense.

@@timothygantnerMy two cents? People whom are PETRIFIED of death and dying because they have know where to go when they die, and they Hold onto Life with every molecule, because they are Scared! They Dont believe in God, but yet petrified of Death. Is that Rich or what?
