Dub is preferred, I do not miss out on any of the action. I get to focus on every detail that is infront of me. I do not speak Japanese. So it doesn't bother me at all. Subsupremacists are just being childish. Fma brotherhood in dub literally makes the anine. From the setting to the atmosphere. I will admitt that some shows will sound better in sub like one piece. I just cannot imagine watching Berserk(primarily European setting) in sub. It just doesn't hit as hard.

To be fair anime does originate from Japan so it’s sounds more suited when it’s a Japanese voice coming out of the character. Also I feel like In some situations where the dub is better like in jojo part 5 the voice actor for Diavalo put in more passion then the sub did.

I prefer dud because I'm lazy, but mainly because I can really focus easily on the facial expressions of a character without missing what they are saying. Though new anime episodes like Demon Slayer and MHA (and the cartoon Miraculous) I'll watch I sub then rewatch in Dub cause I ain't waiting.

As former weeb, I used to believe sub was superior, but after years of not watching anime and then getting back into it in dubbed, I prefer the dubbed version more. All voice actors do a good job with what they're given to work with, especially the dub va's. Also, to the people who say that english dub sounds bad or awkward, Japanese people would say the same thing about their own dubs because no one irl talks like that. Anime is an exaggerated art form so the va's are an expression of that. If you actually understood Japanese you'd understand that the Japanese spoken sounds awkward too. Plus, subs aren't always reliable and change things around, just like dubs do.

Yes Japanese people don't talk like that , but english voice actor and japanese va there is a difference . Japanese VA are properly trained and you can see that it isn't the case with english va . Plus I think anime is from Japan, made in japan so the japanese va are perfect for it.

This is the reason why I watch anime in the original Japanese dub. They're way better than the English ones. The only Eng dub anime I ever liked watching was Cowboy Bebop, Ouran High School Host Club, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, that's it.
