Another fly we have in common, I do tie mine differently but it’s similar. I make marabou brushes on a brush table. I usually do the tip off the back and use the rest of the marabou to make a brush when I’ve tied enough toads. I palmer the brush after putting on the tail. To build taper. One thing I thought of because I commented on a different video you did with a flat wing. If you put the palmer chenille and then the feather for hackle it works very similar to flat wing flash. The Palmer chenille will be a bit less in your face. It flashes when you strip and the feather pulses in the water. I find it super effective for tarpon. Tight lines buddy, Nice video and nice fly!

Nice fly. What state are you going after redfish?

I grew up in MIami but I hapen to love fishing and traveling so I have fished across most of the Gulf States and up the Atlantic Coast from Florida to South Carolina. Growing up in Miami, I didn't specifically target Redfish. The majority of my fishing growing up was in places like Chokolskee or Flamingo where I was lucky enouh that I could find Snook, Tarpon, Trout, Pompano, Snappers and Black Drum all in the same day. During the summer months the Bonefish would be on flats from Miami to Key West. It was amazing. I also did a lot of fishing in the Flagler Beach / St. Augustine area. More recently I had the great fortune of having one of my good friends move to Slidel, LA. I have been to LA before but nothing beats local knokwledge. RIght now I am living in Sweden but make it back to S FLA at least once a year. I never go home without a vivit to Chokoloskee and the Keys. Thanks for watching and Good luck catching, SWF.
