@jndking9419. No way to know/be sure, since we cannot see what she can. It appears to me she is vocalizing at another bird she sees that is in, or too close to, her territory. There are a lot of eagles in this area, and the river is close by. Birds pass through at times on their way to somewhere else. 🦅🦅

F23 patiently waiting in the rain for M15 🥰. After watching F23 the pileated woodpecker looks small, but he is the largest woodpecker in North American. I always enjoy listening to their drumming. This one seems to have found some tasty treats under ubranch. 😊

Terri Stauffer. I agree, the Pileated Woodpecker does look big, until compared to an eagle lol. They forage on my palm trees, and always look so big flying in. 💙
