Words cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for you and your vidoes.. You were the first one I thought of IMMEDIATELY when he fell this morning... I was SO hopeful you were there on the ground when it happened and to check on him and to make sure he was okay. In my heart I just KNEW you were there, so even if he had gotten hurt, I knew he would be okay with you present. THANK YOU for all you do, and thank you for your videos too!! What a crazy, emotional, day it's been! Filled with fear, excitement, concern, tears, laughter, happiness, sadness, joy, etc... It's just been crazy! We all love you E9!!! I have to agree with the last two posts. I am so grateful that you were there when all this happened. I've been watching all day with so much concern. Is E9 safe? E9 has been in my life since December I don't want anything to happen to him. Harriet and M15 will take care of him won't they? I saw when mom and dad were feeding him at the fence and then that truck went down the road and scared them off. I've been so worried all day. Thank you for being there and videoing the incident.

I have gotten so attached to this family as I have been watching since the eggs! Thank you for loving them as much as I do and capturing every moment to share with all of us!
@annpriddy79417 жыл бұрын
He should be back in the nest and a day or two. I imagine he'll have to work up to it in stages. Flying is instinctive but learning how to take off and land is another matter. I think taking off would be the hardest to learn. E9 has excellent parents that have taught him well and I'm sure they will help him through this transition. For the last week or so he's been doing a lot of hopping and flapping his wings. It was like he really wanted to fly. I was hoping to be able to watch that moment with pride. E9 seems to do things his own way. It was not the graceful fledge said I imagined but I'm sure she'll be just fine. I think the day that I'm really going to feel sad is the day that he takes off on his own as a wild eagle. What we all want for him but after watching him since he came out of the shell it will definitely be bittersweet.

♥️🦅♥️ This video just popped up as a KZbin suggestion and I had some time so I watched it again, now, 5 years in the future, on 11/14/22. But, I had tears in my eyes, all over again, even knowing that our precious E9 was fine after that fall from the nest tree. 😿 S/he Had to grow up a little faster than planned, but, a successful story after all was said and done. I watched all of you videos, Vicki, since I started watching this nest, but, I only joined YT this past Spring, so, I never left a comment, until recently. But, by now, I hope you know how much I love and enjoy your morning visits to the nest and your fabulous videos❣️ This is after Ian came through South Florida and devastated the area. You can see how the trees looked so full and now many are gone or have significant lost branches.😭 Harriet and M15 have rebuilt their nest which was lost in the storm. They have their brood patches and it won't be long before we see Season 11's eggs. 🥚🥚🥚💕 Lots of things have happened in the years that flew by. But, the joy, happiness, tears, and, laughs we have all shared, even at distances from each other, from around the world, remind us that we are a community of eagle fans who have bonded with this fantastic couple and watch them every season come back to this beautiful pasture to have another clutch of chicks and we never know what will happen. But, we do know that we are taking this trip together. Thank you, Vicki, for your dedication and your love for this gorgeous eagle couple, their E's, and, the fans, your fantastic videos, and, for all you do! Be blessed! 😻🙏... ♥️🦅💘🦅♥️... 💐

Dear Vicki, I was over watching April the giraffe when someone posted that E9 fell from the nest. My heart just sunk and I rushed back hoping that I would find a video posted by you. I, like so many, have come to depend on your early reports from the field, so to speak. I feel like I'm right there with you and I can feel your love for our precious eagle family. Like you, I always call E9 "him", as I think of him as a boy. Seems like we may be in the minority there. I hope and pray he will be safe tonight. I'm sure Harriet and M15 will be close by, but I sure wish I could see him safely in the nest. How are YOU?? I was immediately worried about you when I didn't see anymore videos after this one. I am concerned about too many people being drawn to the pasture and getting too close. I count on you for the best reports and I know you must have been traumatized by this. I hope you're ok. Sending love and praying for our E9. We all love him so. xox
