E22 cracks me up! He acts tough, but when it comes to food he knows whose really in charge. It's amazing how big he has gotten! I am proud of him. E22 is amazing and will have a wonderful life when he finally leaves for good. But for now he loves that pond, and I don't think he's going to leave anytime to soon. He's kinda like a beach bumb.

Dad knows what he is doing. He must have his own time to rest and eat. He has done a n excellent job and is still protecting them and the nest. I think Dad will have to show them how to fish and hunt and they will have to try to do this on their own.

Of course, E22 may very well be female but did you read Lady Hawk's description in the gray box under the video? She explains why E22 looks so big. It has to do with the fledglings feathers being longer to help with their flying skills.
