I didn't think I'd get so emotional but the tears keep coming. It's complex as it's both for the sadness that I'll miss them but for the joy in their becoming full fledged Eagles, independent living their lives as they're supposed to. It was so easy to get involved with their every day lives......getting the privilege to witness their eating, their "firsts" of everything, even their cute poops. I'll never forget them and am so grateful to Lady Hawk for this beautiful opportunity she has given us. I also feel a connection to everyone on these comments sections who also love these Eagles. Thank you everyone and big thanks to the Eagle Family themselves although they have no idea how much we all love them and want the best for them.

I observed them both at dawn this morning, with E19 jumping onto the veranda to be side by side with E20. I saw them fly off. This evening I was on live feed once again and noticed M15 perched in the tree alongside the nest tree. I did notice just E20 come into the nest, and is roosting there now. I would imagine that E20 is wondering why E19 has not returned. They remind me of the bonding that the miraculous reclutch of E15 and E16. In that season E16 soared off and never returned, and E15 remained 217 days. The next few days will reveal much to us, will E19 return, or will E20 decide to leave in search of E19, we shall see. It has been a season that began with bonking, and became a blessed friendship. I am deeply moved and humbled to have witnessed this process once again this season. I have been with them on cam most evenings, and last night I had the same thoughts as I have had on most recent nights (what if this is the last night that we shall see them this way). I am hoping that we will get a little more time with them both together, and that they might decide to soar away side by side, but also must be prepared to accept the possibility that we have seen the last of E19. Either way they are celebrating the wonderful work, love and diligence of two quintessential BAEA parents. May they be blessed and protected by the wonderful Penman. Glory. I’ve watched several seasons. Each season I vow I’m NOT going to get attached. NOPE not going to care what happens because Nature can be very cruel, I have no control over any of it, and blah blah blah. Watching this I sobbed like a baby knowing it’s so miraculous to see them soaring so beautifully high in the sky. I realize now that my tears are from the unbelievable beauty of their lives and I wished them to be as successful as their parents at being eagles. TY Lady Hawk for letting me experience this sacred transition to independence. It’s a deeply touching experience.

This was so lovely….what we wait for every time we watch eaglets hatch and develop. Now let’s contact our state and national officials and advocate for the eradication of lead ammunition and fishing tackle. Recent studies have revealed an alarming rate of lead poisoning in eagles and other raptors. We beat DDT in years past, now we must step up to the plate for our precious eagles and take this next step.

That was touching, beautiful, and a little sad. I loved that beautiful melody! It brought out so much emotion as the Eagles were soaring high. Thank you Ms. Lady Hawk for all your beautiful videos! Is that what they do when they get ready to depart the nest? Flying in circles, hovering over the nest and the area where they where born? It seemed like they were saluting their parents, the tree that housed the nest and the area where they grew up! That was so touching.

I'm in tears...yes I am. You watch them from babies like they are your own. Beautiful to watch...Harriet and M-15 can now relax a bit and have time to themselves before it happens all over again.. Thank you so much LH I suffer daily chronic pain and these help take my mind off it. ❤🙏

Pretty incredible how bonded these two were compared to any of pair of siblings at this nest or other nests I have watched over the past 4 years. They almost looked inseparable. Also, that is a really neat observation that soaring very high even up to cloud levels is an indicator they are making their final departure from the nesting area. Fascinating that one day they wake up and decide today is the day it's time to leave. It's funny at the same time for all we know E19 could be roosting and hanging out less than a mile away or near one of the areas where M and Harriett get food from. E19 is referred to as a "she", but was this ever confirmed or is this just an educated guess because 19 is a little bigger than 20? From my observations 19 doesn't look much if any bigger, but I don't know. With 19 gone, 20 probably is nearing departure too.

The eaglets were not banded so we are just guessing based on size and behavior that E19 is a female and E20 a male.

Lady Hawk - That was beautiful music for E19+E20 soaring so high together. I've never seen 2 siblings fly together like that for such a long time. Thank you for all of your time+effort. I do hope E19 comes back for a few more days - then they will both fly off together. 💕 Stephanie
