M15 & F23 are showing their commitment to one another and preparing the nest for their breeding season. They have diligently worked on bringing in 7 sticks and one clump of grass today! While placing their sticks, they are engaging in some beak discussions now - F23 is becoming more assertive in these stick discussions on their placement in the nest. One funny moment is seeing F23 standing on her stick at the rails and balancing on it while trying to place it. She gives up and M15 will return to the nest and fixes her stick! M15 is still the master stick builder at this nest! After a full morning of work, they both head to the attic and exchange vocals and engage in mating. Love is definitely in the air for them! ♥Thank you for watching!

Watching the nest get rebuilt is one of my favorite things to watch- their choice of sticks especially M15 and also their interactions and discussions. I do have to giggle when F23 brings in her tiny sticks. Now M15 is quite used to the female being stubborn and dominant and he knows when to stay and when to leave. He will fix it to his liking on his own time. No doubt by the end of October this is going to be a mighty nest. ❤❤🦅🦅

What an awesome video of sweet Magnificent15 and LadyF23’s nestorations and and more sticks too. WOW!! This nest in my opinion is really awesome looking cause last season, I was quite concern3d about E’s 21&22 with the one side of the nest rail gone and then falling out but thank God they didn’t. So, I think that M15 (the wonderful daddy he is) remembers how the nest looked and he knew he needed to get the nest fixed and built up and he and LadyF23 sure did and awesome job at fixing it and getting it ready too. As I’m watching and knowing that the female is larger then M is and it to me looks like the nest is so smal and no room and with the fluff and more sticks if there will be any room for eggs?🤔. But I’m sure that from the view on the cam that looks can be deceiving and it couldn’t be much larger then it looks cause I do know that Eagles do make very large nests. I also love their relationship with each other and they do tend to be pretty comical from time to time too and I just can’t help but laugh or even smile.😂🥰🦅🦅. I am so positive that this season is gonna be one awesome season and that these two will be an awesome couple and parents too. Even I’d F23 doesn’t quite know how to raise babies M15 will definitely be there to support her and help her too cause he is a very experienced male dadd Eagle and one awesome one at that.❤️🥰🦅🥳. It's interesting to see all the different nests of all the different Eagles and how they're all built differently. Each one is different. It's interesting, too, that this female makes her nest different than Harriet. Harriet's Nest was all prim and proper and round and this one looks kind of haphazard. But I'm wondering if they're doing it that way too trying to make it stronger to protect against other storms that could strike. I love how m and was so determined and impatient with that one big stick!💜🙏💜🙏🙏

It's hard to believe that this nest was blown down last season from 🌪️Hurricane Ian, and built back up within 3 weeks by Harriet and M just in time for egg laying😊 But look at this nest now !! It is looking smaller, but, if they bring in grass clumps with dirt and fill in the center to cover the lowest level of sticks, they may be able to widen the surface area. @riverratt101 Understood! Sorry about that. I thought it was known that they grab clumps of grass with roots and dirt attached. Then they lay down small sticks and layer it, repeating it again, etc. When it all gets wet, and then dries again, it all acts like clay bricks, much like the Egyptians used and what the Israelites were making, as spoken of in the Bible, only they were using straw. I've added with dirt to my comment so it is clearer to other readers. But, you're right. Without the grass roots and dirt, there wouldn't be footing. 😄

He is bringing in the majority of the sticks and placing them. They are building the nest there way😂😂 funny how each nest is different. Harriet liked a large round nest bowl. F23 likes a small deep one. She could of had eaglets last year. I know she is only 5. Noone knows!❤❤

is it me or do the cameras seem glitchy? Its like I see M flying off with the stick and then next shot is him in the nest with it, no landing or sense of their surroundings if that makes sense?? Idk, I'm very thankful for the new cameras the Pritchett's were kind enough to install and donate but is there anything that can be done to eliminate the gaps of time and maybe zoom out just a bit to show us the entire nest? I love these eagles and please don't think I'm complaining, I'm just wondering if they are solar powered and that could cause the issue? Thank you LE for another well put together video. IDK why Eagles have to basically rebuild their own nest every year lol Some of them get so heavy they take the whole tree down. Depending on how big and how strong the tree is of course pm. Looks like they would fix it from the previous year and not basically build another nest on top of it lol It also amazes me how they work together and it works out perfect. When to us or to most of us anyway, it looks like they're just adding and moving sticks 😁 one will put a stick on somewhere and the other one will pick it up and put it somewhere else lol I know that is really not what they're doing but that's what it looks like

Hopefully they don't build the rails up in front of the camera obstructing the view. These rails are gonna be well built. That's what superbeaks do. Luckily theres another nest cam

Watching the cameras hurts my eyes. The constant delays and jumping just really isn't pleasant to watch. I am so sad because this is my absolute favorite nest...I wish we could go back to the way it was. :(
