SWFL Eagles_ Head Over Talons Transfer, Stick Grabbing, Moss Ripping, "Beaks" & Mating 10.12.23

What a busy morning for M15 & F23 as they rebuild the nest while keeping watch over their territory. A missed "beak to talon" stick transfer as M lifts off almost had him head over talons. F23 ripped moss from a branch below the nest to take back to the nest. The windy conditions found M15 "helicoptering in" with a large stick for the nest. Both added sticks and placed them with a few "beak" discussions. There was a pretty well executed bonding in the attic. The courtship of M15 & F23 continues to grow. Watch over them Mom.

Two different worlds. The eagles busy building a very strong nest, so their babies can grow healthy and don’t fall off the nest. And the busy street full full of cars, people going to work, going to school, going somewhere. Thanks Vicki 🎉🎉 I love your voice and the way to talk to our friends eagles ❤

Awesome video, Vicki! F23 seems to be learning the tricks of the nest building process. M15 is an excellent teacher. Their discussions are comical yet encouraging as they are learning to work together… probably an innate skill that they are honing. Love watching this amazing part of the process! Thanks for taking us with you on this overcast and very windy October morning! Yes, I second your invocation that Mom, Harriet watches over these two! Good afternoon Vicki 🙏❤️🦅🦅. It was such an awesome video of our sweet daddy M15 and his new precious and wonderful mate F23.🥰😊🦅🦅. I just love watching them working together cause they do such a awesome job as one does one thing the other does the other and that is defining team work too. As the saying goes, “Teamwork makes the Dreamwork” and that they definitely do so wonderfully. I can tell that F23 is definitely headstrong just like Harriett was and that is a good thing too. I know Harriett brought this f23 to M15 to be his partner cause I’m sure Harriett didn’t just want any female with him. After all M15 has been through, he most definitely deserves to have a wonderful female at his side. It does however, amazes me how they can stand on those limbs while it’s was as windy as I was this morning and not get either blown off or fall off too.👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🦅🦅. Thanks again for an awesome video and this season is definitely looking quite promising for M15 and his new mate F23. God bless them and God bless you Vicki too. Hugs love and keep the faith always. Good to hear your voice again. I'm glad you came through the storm of last year. I think M15 picked a good one. It was kind of confusing on who he would be with at the beginning of the 12th season of SWFL Eagles channel. He sure had plenty of offerings. The female he chose has to fill some awesome shoes but he did well. This female seems committed to the task of helping rebuild the nest as well as preparing for some future offspring. Thank you for sharing your commentary, it is very appreciated.

Thank you, Vicki. I still feel the loss of Harriet in your voice. The future looks great for the nest. We will never forget her, but are so happy that M found another partner to stay with him on this nest. We have so many great memories ahead. Your videos are a nice reminder of the past, too. Seeing them fly in together was heartwarming! 😊 Watching M15 moving on is helping many of us heal from the shock of losing Harriet! 😢 She will forever be cherished! ❤ But, move on, he must. His hormones will tell him to. His job is to preserve his species, and he and his new mate will do just that. @armywidow6004 Yes! They certainly are big birds, but, Southern eagles are also smaller than Northern eagles. M15 is a Southern eagle. Many viewers are commenting on just how big F23 is. 😳 It's possible that she may be a Northern eagle or a mix. If so, the chicks could be bigger than we're used to seeing from M15 and Harriet. I don't know if you follow the NEFL nest with Gabby? But, she had a suitor last season that was so big it was first thought he was a female. (V2, the one she mated with, but no eggs were laid) He is most likely a Northern eagle or a mix. Makes watching even more exciting and interesting. Also, as eagles use their nest, they add to it. As they do, it can not only get deeper but wider, too. As this was a newly built nest by M15 and Harriet after Hurrican Ian, it was basically the start of something new, so we have no idea what Harriet would have liked. It sure is interesting to see each one's different styles. Be blessed! 😇🌺🌻🤗😻💕

I'm so happy for M15 and his lady 😊 I enjoy how they act she is really a pretty Eagle she love's M15 she got her a great catch for sure he is the best provider and protector and I'm happy he ended up staying at the nest tree 🌳and we get to watch how his journey with someone new .. I miss Harriet but seeing M15 happy fills my heart with joy 🦅🦅
