I guess the eaglets just get more independent and just have the timing of when to leave. I wondered about that. This one was so well raised and seems able to hunt and take care of itself. Thank you for such a great video.

Does anybody know the range of the Eagles after they leave the nest? There's plenty of water near the area and a lot of wooded area's also. E-23 may leave but maybe she will stay close in the area hopefully. So if she leaves the tree nest, she still may be close. I know a lot of people here are going to be sad when she leaves but that's what all the training was about. Just because we can't see our eaglet off camera doesn't mean that she is not close by. I think E-22 is still around. It's been a great season.

The videos Lady Hawk has posted of E23 swooping the ducks in the pond is perfect practice for fishing and just like everything else E23 has learned has been from closely observing its parents. I wouldn't be surprised if we get to see E23 catching a fish before they leave the nest area for good.
