F23 is an Incredible Eagle Mom - especially since we assume this is only her second season of eaglets and first time with two. Her natural intuition is beautiful to see! And she's using it to stave off any sibling rivalry. Smart Mom! And seeing her tongue push the food was a treat after just learning about it from you, Lady Hawk! Thank you 🙏💜

It's fascinating how Mom seems to position each tiny tidbit "just exactly so" that they are aligned with baby's beak for easy grabbing. Any shape tidbit can be maneuvered. And what a privilege to see her tongue pushing food "just exactly so!" ❤ Many thanks Lady Hawk!

It's so nice how F23 is able to ensure that E25 gets enough to eat. I am glad. It was a concern when E24 started to attack E25 and been praying that they will get along. I watched two the live stream these few days. It's better that both survive this time and get along.

So glad to see E25, get some food in and no fighting for food. It came 4 days later (hatch) and seems so weak. Glad F23, taking time to give it lots of food to bring it up to pare with E24.

A couple of questions: Didn't these two babies hatch about 2 weeks earlier than E23 did last year? Am I correct in thinking it's at about 2 1/2 months that the young eagles can be expected to start "branching" or "helicoptering" in preparation for fledging?

24 first, so potentially 24 has a few days advantage but mum is making sure both get good feeds, the last one to hatch (25) could be at a slight disadvantage but hopefully not with these parents
