I think and thank Dave Felloni and the whole team around him for giving us such a masterpiece that has ever been made. Just look at how they introduced us to every single clone in the series. Put simply, you might see clones like oranges, they all look the same on the outside, but they differ in taste. Every situation, every decision they had to make along the way made them to a unique being.

The Clones were the most tragic characters we've seen in Star Wars history. Originally were meant to fight and defend the Republic, giving their lives for others to live. But then, once Palpatine played a bonus card implementing the Stormtrooper Program, the Clones were all but discarded. Those who were forcefully retired ended up homeless, and what's worse, used as test subjects locked up in prison. The Clones do deserve a better life at this point after the Clone Wars.. It's sad that they all gave up their lives for nothing.
@thataberranthalo8032 Жыл бұрын
I agree partially. Mostly because there other characters who were equally tragic (Maul, Grievous, Vader, Kenobi, etc). The clones were so highly tragic.
@JPSRCE1987 Жыл бұрын
They were all essentially slaves to the Republic and the Empire, no better then the clankers they fought against, as the clankers could not fight their programming, neither could the majority of the Clone Army, bred for one thing only, war and once won, discarded.
@Call_Me_Ainz Жыл бұрын
Not only that but were forced to turn thier guns on thier friends (Jedi, fellow troopers, civilians ect) as we saw in Bad Batch that's why alot of the clones started rebelling, even with the chips they couldn't rationalize and accept the lies. Good soldiers follow orders, great soldiers stick to their guns when it gets tough. I appreciate your service, I don't even care what military you're from. Some soldiers do horrible things in the name of their country, but one has to remember who put them there, who told them they should sign up, or who forced them into signing up. Who spreads the propaganda telling them what they're doing surely couldn't be wrong. So often soldiers are forgotten, discarded, and spit on. Most especially in America. You get sent off to war only to be called a murderer and criminal when you return. Well fuck that. War is complicated, war is hell, and most of all, war is bullshit.

This was amazing. It perfectly captured the tragedy of the clones and everything that happened to them.

One of the most heart-rending storylines in all of Star Wars is not about the jedi sith or the war but rather that which we caught glimpses of each time we saw it

Star Wars is a Shakespearean space tragedy at its core. It takes notes from each and every tragedy including Romeo and Juliet, MacBeth, Hamlet, Julies Ceaser, and even Othello. Great stuff.

I love how even though they are clones, we can tell who said which voice lines

Man, this one made me tear up! So much personality and depth of character for guys bred from a DNA template. One of the best parts of Star Wars. Great video SWFT 👏

Im so glad we got the Clone Wars and Bad Batch. Its some of my favorite Star Wars content in the entire series. I also cant stop thanking about Plo Koon and how he felt about the clones, you know genuinely cared for them, and then he died without knowing why they had betrayed him... And thid video really is the perfect tribute to the Clones and what they went through. Ty for this it's beautiful

The Clones are easily the most compelling characters in Star Wars.

I really miss the clones. They were just as much victims as the Jedi were. They were used from the very beginning and no one knew it. I remember the Clones. All of them were heroes in their own way, and if there had been a way. They could have been saved. They could have helped the Republic.

Forged to be a platform of complete uniformity, but through they’re own experiences and hardships they formed identities to distinguish themselves from one another. Made to be expendable soldiers, but many of the Jedi treated them like actual heroes and gave them the respect they deserved. For the Clone Army, For the Republic!

I REALLY hope Dave and the rest of the crew who worked on these shows has seen this. I unironically think it would move Dave to tears.

Best tribute ever tbh. I got goosebumps and even started crying. Its truly so sad to see all those clones die for nothing, literally nothing. I cant believe this shows were meant to be for kids but they're more than that. Thank you for this tribute.

This is incredible, seriously. The story of the clones in Star Wars is both beautiful and tragic. Honestly , I've been holding my breath during mando season 3, because any minute we're going to find out what happened to the rest of the clones, and it's going to be hard to watch

This was Incredible. As Someone who grew up with The Clone Wars, It was My Childhood and this just made Me So Emotional. The Clones were the most Brave And Loyal Soldiers The Republic could have asked for. They were all Identical, and yet each one of them was unique. They Protected their Brothers, And They Gave Everything For The Republic, Only to be cast aside after being programmed to destroy the Generals they served under. I cannot express how much They Mean To Me. Thank You, For making this Wonderful Tribute.

As any Clone Wars/Bad Batch fan would know, it is hard to explain how amazing the and emotional the whole arc of the clones are and that words cannot explain the feels you get after watching the series. Finally this video sums up almost everything about the main clone trooper arc perfectly. Thank you so much for this. May the Force be with you.
