Hey thanks a ton for making this video. Watched it a ton preparing for thrawn and got 7 star after 3 hours like you. For reference for others, i had gear 8 and 181 speed on ezra, 120 on kanan and 150-160 for hera, zeb, chopper. What saved me was zeb didnt get crit by thrawn with his first basic attack and zeb alive made all the difference

I had tried over 70 times to get Thrawn 7*. Finally was able to get Chopper today to 7* on the last day of the event. Watched your video and on the 4th try I was able to beat it. All was total luck that Ezra was able to dispel StormTrooper Taunt in 2nd move. Then I was able to take out a DT real quick. Then got the 2nd DT with some work but still had all 5 toons going against the rest and into facing Thrawn. He ended up killing Kanan and Chopper but I got him. All my characters are G8. Finally the journey which started with gearing up all the Phoenix characters like crazy before the 1st Legendary event has come to a close. Thanks.

This finally got me to 7* Thrawn. Everyone else starts off with "my Phoenix is all gear 9 except for Ezra and Hera who are 11". I just swapped my Arena mods on and followed your strategy for P4. Thanks very much!

Thank you. I had Ezra and Hera at gear 9, Chopper, Zeb, and Kanan gear 8. You cannot omega Choppers unique until level 82. I’m currently level 80, so I put omegas on everyone’s uniques and Hera’s leader ability, but couldn’t do Chopper. I did beat it with good RNG. But as you said, you have to be persistent. I’ve seen a guild mate do it with even less. So as you said it can be done, but man it takes persistence, and RNG. I autoed until the third tier so I could reset my cool downs. It took me like 89-90 times. But since I didn’t have all the omegas I geared a little higher. They really should let you omega Choppers unique at level 80. I got through the first six tiers at level 79 until I got to 80 four days into the event.

I got thrawn unlocked with all gear eight Phoenix and I’m lvl 81, you mainly have to get good rng and I found it helpful to immediately taunt with kanan

I followed your video and did it in one try. Did it with Chopper gear 9, Kanan Ezra Hera and Zeb all gear 8 but I seriously had modify my mods by borrowing my arena mods. In the end I lost Kanan but still managed to finish with a 2 star. I'm excited that I finally got that 7-Star Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Awesome vid man! I did a Gear by gear, toon by toon level up to see what the absolute lowest gear level was that I could get away with and the lowest I was able to win with was gear 8 hera kanan chopper and Ezra with a gear 7 zeb! Good mods on them and a few omegas but nothing crazy

Konuvis don’t lose hope. Try gearing Ezra and zeb if you can! Use Sabine to quickly take out the deathroopers and keep trying.... you can do it!

I don't have enough chards for a 7* Thrawn, but i just beat the 6* event with gear 1 chopper! :D I've Kanan at Gear 10, Hera at 9, Zeb at 8, Ezra at 7 and well about Chopper i told you. It wasn't easy, but you make the impossible possible with phoenix.

I did it 3 or 4 days ago with alternate setup and different mods. Setup was: Hera G9, Kanan G8, Zeb G8, Chopper G8 and Sabine G8 (yes i don't have Ezra at 7 starts when i did it). Sabine and Chopper didn't have single omega, rest of team got unique abilities maxed out. Mods was key part of success. I used my arena team mods to do it - Sabine get Crit damage mods with +90 speed. Rest of team for speed mods for +100 +110 speed. This way i don't even lost single char to Thrawn. GL to everyone and hope this help you as well as video.

This was extremely helpful, I actually was able to beat the 7* from using this as a guide. My Phoenix was slightly higher gear, and it took SEVERAL attempts and some rng luck (2 hours) but thank you for the video.

I really regret getting Sabine instead of Chopper now, but I've had her at 6* for a loong time. I have Chopper on 5, so I thought I took the easier way. Man, the protection sucks now.

Holy shit I just got chopper and Hera to gear IX and I believe zeb Kanan were VIII . ( I was about to get Ezra to X) and then I changed some of mods, did kind of the same as yours except I mostly gave chopper and Zeb better defense mods and gave Kanan a couple tenacity mods . After that I killed everyone except it was Hera and Ezra against Thrawn . Then I lost but I leveled better mods up after that . And somehow I got lucky cause Thrawn killed Zeb after there was only thrawn and a commander stormtrooper . Then it was thrawn against chopper ( which he killed near the end ) Kanan and Hera and Ezra . Those last three survived and I finally beat him . Thank you man . That was a nightmare of a legendary hero event . But he is worth it I'll definitely say that . Lol. Took me forever to do this . I never thought of how much it mattered but believe me it's all in the mods . You gained a sub from me

I was always calling Zeb to assist with Hera & Ezra. The even is easier with the chopper buffs this time around too I noticed. Zeb stagger special into chopper basic assist is clutch.

I have sabine instead of kanan and I am having a HARD time, cannot even defeat two in last battle of tier 7. All my phoenix is gear 8 except ezra gear 9. I do not have kanan starred up enough.Any way around it?

Anthon Damien Kiong yeah! So I’d say put your best mods on Chopper for health instead. Then at the beginning of the round, remove the taunt, and the Buff above the head of the deathtropper. Then eliminate the death troopers before they terminate whoever Thrawn fractures. (Use Ezra special mixed with sabine.) Mod Ezra and Sabine for Crit chance, dmg and Speed. Most importantly, keep trying for the right RNG to save that beloved gear :)

Tried many times buddy... just too hard... I am unsure if I should continue to gear up my phoeni. Oh as of now Hera is gear 9 still cannot make it. Chopper only has 16730 health and 12298 prot. I have 3d and 16 hrs more. I will work on it. Thanks man.

Mods are the key. I was getting hammered even with a gear 10 Chopper, gear 9 with 1 to go for gear 10 Ezra, well geared gear 9 Hera and gear 8 Kanen and Zeb, then I switched out the mods along the lines suggested here (would never have even considered modding Chopper for offence) and everything clicked. I can't stress enough the kill order in the final battle either, use buff dispel to stop the stormtrooper taunting and concentrate on the death troopers first, then the stormtrooper commanders, then pick apart the stormtrooper and thrawn. Also keep whomever is your primary attacker, Ezra preferably, alive at all costs.

This video was super helpful. I was making the mistake of trying to keep Thrawn stunned while taking out the rest, and using chopper and Kanan's taunts too much. I was getting smashed in the last battle. My phoenix squadron is "better" than yours too - Ezra G10, and the rest g8, and have WAY better mods than what you have on them. My toons have comparable defense/protection/health/offense, but are 50-60 faster. Three of them are over 200 speed. Zeb's potency is 75%. My Ezra is even hitting for 13k crits and 217 speed. Like you said, it's all about the RNG!!!

Vincent Calrusso I would try to put your best mods on the team and see if that makes the difference. If it survives the initial attacks, you’ll win easy, chopper and zebs unique help give bonus health and protection adding survivability to your team

I literally copied this team mod for mod. All my gears are the same, except Kanan is g8. Took about 10 tries, but that did it! Actually fractured Hera immediately and killed her soon after on the winning attempt. Thanks for posting! I was about to give up.

Gear X on most with Zeb and Kanaan 8. Took like 9 tries but I was dumb and had wrong lead at first. Zeb kinda got Zeta'd too. The kriffing protection bar is what's hard to crack. And of course the taunt has to be dispelled and death troopers killed first. Then Storms then Thrawn. And try getting Zeb to stagger Thrawn. Arena mods helped me. Pulled em off and slapped em on Phoenix til I was finished. I agree it's a huge RNG luck based pain

How many Omegas does Thrawn need? I'm currently readying Phoenix squad and have the appropriate mods ready. I know his abilities need 15 but how many Omegas does his abulity and unique need? Darryl de Santa he probably needs close to 40 total. 26 like you said from the zetas, then 5 for each normal ability. He has a zeta leadership and zeta unique. I highly recommend zetaing the unique before the leadership

I got all the characters minus Ezra. And all the characters are in gear 8. Will it be possible to win this last Tier 7 battle using Sabine instead of Ezra? It just that Erza is such a long farm.

aliasangelalias I’m not sure. If you go that way, you’ll lose a dispel which kinda stinks, but you’ll have increased damage. Use Sabine in a similar way to Ezra, best speed mods on Hera if you can, then Sabine. If you use your best mods, get some good rng and can stagger Thrawn enough to slow him down, you should be golden. But it’s hard for me to say so take it with a grain of salt

Right after I finish writing to you. I decided to watch one more advice video from “Mist Passiert.” He mention something about speeding up Chopper and Zeb. So I drop the 30 Speed mods on them both. As for dispel, Chopper is my droid for that ability. I also decide to give Hera +30 speed as well. Essentially, Hera will continue to ask Zeb for his basic support and spam Stun upon them. Moments later… I did it!!! I’m super happy I JUST got thru this insane battle. Beside Mist’s video, Your video also helps me understand that who I should attack first in the 4th round. Yes i got him pretty easily with some remoding. I use chopper and for the event i think it helps better. I just made him super fast and called him to assist with ezra and hera and he buffed up my whole team making them monsters. My kill order was taunting stormtrooper two deathtroopers second stormtrooper and last thrawn

Did it today, 65k power team, ezra g10, rest g8. Mods 4-5* only health, I took them from my arena team. Ive been paying this game for 4 months. Key is to have some +speed mods! Without them i got crushed hard, with them all 5 phoenixes survived.

Actually attempting it now for the 6th time. All 5 are only G8. They have the other easy pieces on them tho. I just haven't put the CEC Furnaces or Stun Guns on 'em. It's difficult. I haven't switched mods yet tho. Was hoping I wouldn't have to, but I will. LoL

Robert Oakes mods will be the key in this one, they’ll save you a lot of gear. Remember, all you have to do is beat the event once! Then you are done forever!

Just 7-starred him! Raised Ezra & Chopper to G9 but left the other 3 at 8. So glad I didn't have to use another Stun Gun for Hera to be G9. I equipped the 5 others on her except for the stun gun

i literally can't beat it. The troops i face just deal much more damage and i have nearly trhe same mods as you and chopper and ezra are even higher geared. I'm literally so close before just quitiign because it annoys me this much. i can't do anything

I had to watch the event come and go recently, and I only walked away with a 6 star thrawn (first try). But I was only at level 80 when the event started; 81 when the event ended. And I just couldnt pull it together. Roll forward several weeks, and I'm now at 84 going on 85. Had to do a quick review of your video again to make sure I'm ready for next time. I'm already gear 10 on Ezra and Hera. Gear 9 on Chopper. And gear 8 on Kanan and Zeb. Looking at the numbers, I think I'll be able to knock this out next time it comes. Hopefully it'll be back in 6-8 weeks from now.

Oh yeah youll be fine! Once you get him, you will be in a great spot for all modes (ship arena, squad arena, DSTB) It may take a couple tries, but you will 7* him! :)

Kam6578 To be honest, I’ve completed all the challenges and I have a 7* Thrawn. It’s just nice to see video geared at F2P oppose to always watching whales easily getting past events. Don’t worry I’ll stop by your other videos and leave a like. Keep up the good work! 😃

i would've geared everyone g8. just g9 ezra and kanan, they are the best out of all of them plus you'll end up dividing the power evenly on both ships that they use. chopper is a waste to gear up doing nothing but taunt and heals. kanan is better due to his cleanse

mattbell543 not necessarily.... you can do it with Sabine, but survivability won’t be as important as damage output

mattbell543 it will be a pain if you aren’t max level because some omegas really help with beating this. But it is definitely beatable if you get the right RNG. Having all of them gear 8 or so helps a lot!

You don't have to put a single carbanti or a single stun gun or a single droid caller. I 7* Thrawn today with a complete g8 phoenix squad leaving out sabine. I put only the simple g8 items on everyone. I didnt even put a sienar on anyone. I do have preety sick mods. I had around 200 speed or over on everyone except kanan. I also put potency mods on zeb (75% potency) which helped a lot. I hope this text helps someone get him. Please dont waste good gear if you have decent mods. Good luck. P.S. It took me like 25 attempts :)

Black Wolf no, this is just what I found to be successful. My mods had to compensate for a lot of missing pieces of gear because all of the characters were geared up so low

In my opinion yes if you are starting from ground zero. If you have already farmed Sabine (and do not have chopper), you can do it with sabine, you just may need more luck with who you put Hera's Back Up Plan on, because your team wont have as much survivabilty (but they will have more damage input)

was about to call it impossible but just did it with an all gear 8 team with no zetas. for a ton of attempts the best i could hope to do was get to a 4v1 with thrawn and hed just destroy me from there with counter attacks without even breaking a sweat. now i managed to keep all 5 alive and then didnt even lose anyone while wailing away at him. its pretty much all luck. even with all 5 alive i think i wouldve lost but he barely triggered any counter attacks for some reason. all you can do is try to balance your turn meters with hera and ezras abilities to get as much dispell from chopper as possible and hopefully always get either chopper or kanan to taunt after thrawn fractured someone. that and praying.

I have ezra gear 10, Kanan, Hera, Zeb and Sabine gear 8. I hope i'm able to get thrawm 7* with my arena mods that adds about 70-80 speed. I farmed sabine for a long time in the guild store becouse I knew it was a long farm. Didn't care for chopper, but the moment I thought of switching sabine for chopper it was too late and I woundn't have time. Didn't see the whole video but will be back this night

Same here about sabine. The fact I thought she was better and warrior was chanting like a tusken raider that sabine was better then chopper. It took me awhile with many attempts but I competed it with a full g8 Phoenix team with save

I just finished mine today at lvl 76, G9 all except G8 Kanan, speed mods on ezra zeb and hera, protection defense and hp on chopper and kanan, omegad their basics too. Took around 23 tries, was just really lucky rng with stuns and Thrawn not autoing and using his TM ability
