Swift Remote Matching (Nippon Procedure 2)

New Suzuki Swift remote can be matched using this Video:
Here is the procedure:
1. Unlock the car using 1 working remote.
2. Sit in the car and keep the driver-side door open.
3. Turn-ON the ignition with any key and immediately take out the key. Do not start the car.
4. Press & release door-switch 3 times.
5. Again turn ON the ignition and immediately take out the key. Door locks will cycle from Unlock position to Lock position and then to Unlock position to confirm Remote programming mode.
6. Now press and hold lock button of each remote one by one for 1 second. You'll hear a short beep for each successful registration

The problem seems due to old remote where actual button on circuit are damaged except for alarm button. Get it repaired from some watch repair or mobile repair shop or get a new remote.

Hi, Since the car in under warranty, i called the Nippon Guy and he checked my car and found the Siren non-functional. He replaced the siren and i can get hear the siren chirp while locking & unlocking. The siren is located above the right-front headlight in the hood. Thanks.

Hi Babaji Sawant It seems either the car is in some type of valet mode where Siren is switched off or Siren seems to be damaged. First refer to the Nippon user manual (You must have got with the car) to check is there any option to turn it ON Second, If above failed, Get your Siren checked from some electrician near your place. Replace If damaged. Third, If it fails again, then get it checked from Nippon Service Center

Yes you are right There are 2 possibilities we have seen in such a situation 1. Either the remote button is faulty 2. Or some door switch in car is faulty. There are buttons on car which gets pressed when you close the door to send signal to the car that door is closed. If some button linked to door, boot or bonnet is not getting depressed completely then also same situation arises. Check each button one by one by pressing that with finger and check lock button on key

Unfortunateley it didn't work for me. After the second ignition the door locks cycled but then when I pressed lock, it didn't beep and didn't accept the key. Do you have any idea? Dear Harrison, I have just purchased a second hand Maruti Suzuki Wagon R VXI Mfg Date Nov 2011i have below challenges, 1. While using the remote for keyless entry the same works fine but While locking the doors only the lights blink but it doesn't beep 2. The Security Switch LED is ON i.e. RED light is ON when the car is locked, but the siren doesn't go start when anyone try to open the door or the Hood. Are you rematching your old remote or new one? Here are possible solution measures you may follow Try rematching the remotes once again but this when you take out the key from ignition second time, just hold the lock/unlock button pressed at least for 3 seconds If it fails & you are matching your old remote, Try replacing the batteries first If it fails or If you are matching a new remote then you will be required to get your remote exchanged as all Nippon remote are not equal. Try another one
