Can't believe that 2 people gave this the thumbs-down. One of the best songs ever - and Mr Dekker's voice hadn't changed after nearly 40 years! Pure class!

Actually his voice has changed slightly, this is a lower key than back inte days. But still an awesome performance of a great song. And he's backed up with probably the best musicians who ever performed this song! ❤❤❤

I saw Desmond Dekker play in a small pub in Leeds back in the earlier 90's, place was packed full of skinheads, got to be one of the best gigs I've ever been to. The guy was a legend and will always be greatly missed.

Desmond Dekker was great. The horn section was amazing. The bass was superb. I can listen to the bass, by itself and still be jumping with joy. The drummer was excellent. The piano player played like a boss and the backing vocalists were heavenly.

Thank you Desmond. Joy brought to hundreds of millions of people over a life time. How few have accomplished this! Happy to have seen you in Aberystwyth around 1974. The hall was almost empty but you lit it up for me.

I haven't heard a lot of them, but so far this is the only reggae song that I love. It just makes a person want to dance and makes them happy! I first watched this video of the song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGateXqfZcaqncU and have been in love with it ever since.
