SwiftGate Automated Taper - CGI

We are very pleased, after many months of hard work from the project team, alongside our collaborative partners National Highways and Kier Highways, we are now able to commence the trial of SwiftGate; an innovative and exciting safety solution.
SwiftGate is the UK's first Automated Lane Closure System which removes the need for road workers to manually mark lane closures. Pivoting horizontally with a high surface of reflective material and LED lighting, SwiftGate not only removes risk of injury to traffic management workers but also provides increased visibility.

Seems an awful lot of temporary works rather than 30minutes of putting cones out. The temporary signs look permanent and lifting the gates into the centre and removal all take time. Not convinced and the barriers look more like a decapitation device. Like most things in construction now it’s easy to make a digital film but the real world is a little more brutal (especially in Civils/construction).
