Other entertainers need to take notes. TS provides the best concert in the business. That is one of the main reasons why she dominates. 45 semi-trucks full of gear for the stage and sounds. 16 outfit changes. 44 songs. Does anyone else do that? No, they get their guitars or microphones and expect that fans will come and appreciate. But then TS shows them all up with a full show of stuff no one has ever seen. Stages moving up and down. Fans 3 stories high held by her backstage performers. Diving under the stage and 'swimming' back. That is true entertainment. And. A lot more work than simply putting the band on the stage and playing a few songs.

I guess the Australians who aren't Swifties (such as me) don't necessarily hate TS, we just don't understand it. To my reading, musically she is neither remarkable nor terrible. There is nothing about her which jumps off the page to distinguish her output from anyone else's music. Therefore her appeal is something more elusive. I still haven't had anyone adequately explain it. Perhaps it is blind faith. But I'm certainly not a hater. She seems quite nice, if not a little overly self-aware.
