Soundwave's robot mode looks great, but I feel that his vehicle mode needs to be better defined. Even a hover tank needs details to sell it as a vehicle and not a brick of folded up robot.

I feel the Cybertronian vehicles are easy to make and transform because since they’re alien vehicles unlike their Earth vehicles and objects, there’s no need for Earth-based logic to put into their transformation. So they could just make a ‘lazy’ transformations or ‘lazy’ looking vehicle modes and that’s because “They’re alien”. Like, what Soundwave supposed to be? A car? A tank? A platform? It doesn’t look like anything… Or least not on Earth.
