At least this soundwave's vehicle mode actually became a thing in Transformers One. I personally mistransform it a bit to turn it into a tank with a regular and evasive maneuver mode.

technically he is meant to be a armored hover car if you look at the concept art and there is an old comic that does have him transform into that sort of thing, but at least in regards to the figure it does look better if you attach the cannon to the port and made it a turret.

Baiwei is one of the best knockoffs out there. Ive personally bought a few from Ali Express. They are great for overpriced/discontinued figures like SS 04 and this shockwave.
